The NWSL should be able to bring back some of this pace though at most btw 60% to 70% of this…

Why?
The US is coming with its best regiment of players, so also are the likes of Germany, England, Spain and other serious countries.
The Olympics Soccer tournament for women has no restrictions, unlike the men.

Why do you want to take some half backed players, like Flourish, Ogbonna or the green horn Jiwaku, when you have seasoned players who would add more value? You take players who can help you win, not players who are at best, benchwarmers or even cheerleaders
PDPGuy:
You echoed my thoughts on the potential squad.
I would add Jiwaku, Sebastian Flourish, Gift Monday, and Akudo Ogbonna as my 4 alternates

Freda Ayisi.
Came across her tiktok account and her ability with the ball is just mind-blowing. I always wondered why someone like her plays for Charlton and not a bigger club in England.

Seems she has embraced her Ghanaian heritage because she was in ghana in December for giving back to the community and now getting a callup to their team.

With what I see her do on Instagram, damn, this is a good one for Ghana. I like skillful players.

Maybe he thinks is just all about taking players to a Major tournament for taking sake… They forgets that Wining is also a very big Part of the game..

This is the Olympics that you go with only 18players, Why not go with your best instead of going with Players with you have affinity for them forgetting the major tournaments on ground just because you like a player..

It’s good to have Skillful but the end product of that Player also matters a lot… Wondering why she still play in Div2 in a whole England?

She’s good no doubt.. Will a lot to the Ghana Attacking game… Why wondering why their Coach didn’t include the one newly signed by Bay FC who’s a very quick and skillful winger. She will definitely play Sub role at Bay FC for sure with the Caliber of players in attack.

If they’re all in form, this would be my 18players list..
Goalkeepers
1. Chiamaka Nnadozie
2. Tochukwu Oluehi

Defenders:
3. Osinachi Ohale
4. Ashleigh Plumptre
5. Oluwatosin Demehin
6. Michelle Alozie
7. Rofiat Imuran

Midfielders:
8. Deborah Abiodun
9.Halimatu Ayinde
10. Christy Ucheibe
11. Jennifer Echegini
12. Rasheedat Ajibade
13. Toni Payne

Forwards:
14. Omorinsola Babajide
15. Esther Okoronkwo
16. Ifeoma Onumonu
17. Asisat Oshoala
18. Uchenna Kanu
If injury doesn’t play in then this Squad is definitely the best right now if the Olympic game plays in.. I had to put Experience, Versatility, Form and individual abilities of the players into the consideration and how they can help the team..

❗️Barça’s latest offer to Alexia is around €600,000 for two seasons. The will of the club is to sit down and come to an understanding with the captain.

They consider that they have been generous, and are still willing to improve her current contract although they cannot meet her financial expectations (close to €1M).

NWSL salary rankings have changed already!

Mal Swanson $2.5M, Chicago Red Stars (5 years)

Deyna Castellanos $1.8M, BayFC (4 years)

Racheal Kandananjo $2M, San Francisco BayFC (5 years)

María Sánchez $1.5M, Houston Dash (4 years)

We don’t know Oshoala’s contract total, yet

The highest here is still $500k yearly which is still less than what Barcelona is offering Alexia. Truth is Barcelona doesn't need her for football anymore, what they need is her brand and cult following in Spain. The ACL sadly has affected her significantly. She should take the deal in my opinion.

You need to still take note that the likes of Diani, Lieke Martens, Katoto, Ada Hegerberg, Aitana, Oshoala, Bronze, Kerr, Russo, Vivian Miedema salary isn’t publicly disclosed too, they might be earning even higher… At least all the listed players here can’t be earning below $400k yearly at minimum..

First, Mal Swanson is actually 2M for 5 years and not 2.5M. This probably makes her the highest paid NWSL player at the moment. Prior to now the highest was Sanchez from Dash. Been trying to see a platform with legit info but most are speculative.

Chances are there are players in Europe like Diani who earn much better than this so that isn't being disputed. But half of those you highlighted don't earn that amount. Both Bronze and Aitana earn less than $250k yearly. Sam Kerr is reportedly the highest paid in the WSL and she earns a little above £400k so no way Russo is earning that. Much of what these ladies earn is from endorsement deals.

Aitana and Lucy Bronze is earning less that $250k isn’t something that is confirmed..

First, the problem with the wages of women players is cause the largely lack sources and reports on the subject are largely contradictory. For instance Google search highest paid footballers and you'll get different sites giving different results. That said I think Hegerberg and Diani earn above $400k, kotoko however doesn't seem to.

As per Lucy Bronze, that's what she earns and multiple sources cite this. For Aitana, I think the problem is when she signed her contract extension (2021). So yes she earns less than $250k but is obviously way more valuable than that. He contract expires next year so she'll land a big bag then but eight now her contract says otherwise.

I think Nicole is actually on the right track.
Yes, she has very limited first team appearances but she is in the first team squad and trains with superstars day in day out.
That experience is invaluable. Not to mention she has made about 4 appearances now.
We all recall how long it took for Imuran to break into the Reims squad and even at that, she is still not a consistent starter for the team. Nicole will get there soon, we just have to be patient.
Deltamani:
Sorry Nicole Payne have played more number of games this season though she has only started 1 League game and 1 Cup game, the rest few was late time substitutions…

But the truth is that she’s struggling for game time, alongside the likes of Tounkara even Lieke Martens don’t even get to start big games.. My own take is that she seems to have lost a lot of confidence and really need to go elsewhere on Loan to get quality game time.. EVEN Paris FC will be a good place for her as Julie Soyer their Right Back will be 39yrs this year and will retire cause it was Paris FC Coach that pleaded with her and the Captain Thiney to stay longer to offer the younger ones experience..

If you say so… Imuran case was an injury when she first got there but gradually worked her way in… Right now she’s a regular for Stade de Reims even though she tends to come from the bench at times..

As for Nicole Payne her lack of game time is very worrisome even though she trains regularly with her Club, not having game time isn’t good enough for a player with such Potentials, it’s affecting her National Team Status..!

The former Bayelsa Queens Defensive Midfielder literally left a void in the Midfield for them moving over to Russian Side Lokomotive Moscow..

A lot of Potential and arguably a Player I’m looking forward to seeing in the SuperFalcons team in the nearest future..

To me she’s a good defensive midfielder with a good sense of anticipation of the opponent's play, marking, tackling, interceptions, passing and possess great stamina… She will definitely get better as time goes on

I like the way she attempt longer and complex passes, and also the way she starts attack after winning back the ball.,

Still Wondering how I didn’t take much notice of her game while she was still Playing in 9ja League here..

Rachael’s salary comes out to roughly $232,000/year, while Deyna’s would be around $265,000/year after tax due to the insane amount of tax we pay in California…
