Steep: Jesus was actually the first to have a real resurrection All others resurrected died again but Jesus lived forever Psalm 89:27 And I will place him (David) as firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth. David was not firstborn. He was not even son of Saul. It was talking about favor. Jehovah favored him as king as if he were s firstborn who usually receive kingship. David was not the highest king on the earth by human standpoint but from Jehovah's standpoint, as king ruling over His own people and in his holy city, he was the highest of all earthly kings. Note the highlighted (will) as if it was talking about a future event But David was already dead. So that prophecy had a greater fulfillment - on the Messiah, Jesus- God's firstborn and king over all the earth. Several scriptures referring to David were also or had greater fulfilment on the Christ 1 Like 1 Share |

Emusan:Why is Emusan LYING & pretend that Revelation 3:2,12 & Matthew 6:9 is NOT in his own Bible? Is heaven in the physical realm? "Our Father in heaven" means what? Trinity robbed your brain. |
Re: In What Way Is The Father Greater Than The Son? by Kobojunkie: 3:15am On Feb 17 |
In the entirety of Scripture, the only The beginning made reference to is the time that is the creation of the world. The only other beginning mentioned in Scripture is that of Satan, and this beginning was specifically mentioned by the person of Jesus Christ giving the impression that He wss witness to it. Inventing another beginning all for the sake of promoting a doctrine that has nothing to do with Scripture is typical of the religious circle. |

Kobojunkie:The beginning means when creation started it includes Jesus and all other beings apart from the Almighty God that's why the phrase "in the beginning" has to do with all creatures including the first creature or firstborn of all creations: Jesus! Colossians 1:15 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: In What Way Is The Father Greater Than The Son? by Steep(m): 6:21am On Feb 17 |
Michael547:No John never implied that Jesus had a beginning rather it means that at the time when all things were created Jesus was present meaning he was not part of creation. when did John say Jesus was not with God before the beginning? |
Re: In What Way Is The Father Greater Than The Son? by Steep(m): 6:25am On Feb 17 |
Aemmyjah:So David being the first born does not mean he is the first king right? Jesus being the firstborn over all creation has does not mean he was the first to be made but it means he has pre-eminence over all creation. 1 Like |

Re: In What Way Is The Father Greater Than The Son? by Steep(m): 10:02am On Feb 17 |
Aemmyjah:It means he is the source and ruler of God's creation because all things were made by him. Scrupture says without him nothing created would exist meaning he himself is not part of created things. |

Re: In What Way Is The Father Greater Than The Son? by Emusan(m): 10:23am On Feb 17 |
Michael547: See your life outside. So FIRSTBORN just means FIRST not FIRST TO BE CREATED If FIRSTBORN from the dead means FIRST to be raised then that's not the meaning of "FIRSTBORN" Now Your CEV Translation says that Jesus was not only the superior but also the firstborn son in respect to all creation. So how do you want to argue that Jesus was not the first person to be created? The term FIRSTBORN means SUPERIORITY that's how it's being used even in our today's world. CEV used that perfectly. Additionally, Col 1:18 also dash your previous argument that Jesus was NOT BEFORE THE BEGINNING. Firstly, it says Jesus is "BEFORE ALL THINGS" Lastly, it says Jesus "IS THE BEGINNING" |
Re: In What Way Is The Father Greater Than The Son? by Emusan(m): 10:28am On Feb 17 |
MaxInDHouse: But the Father is called THE BEGINNING Are you insinuating that the Father is also part of Creation? since you said THE BEGINNING means WHEN CREATION STARTED. |

Steep: No Sir. Hebrew 1:2, Isaiah 44:24 & Daniel 4:30 debunked your claim. God MADE all things (including Jesus Christ, Rev3:14). Likewise, Nebuchadnezzar made Babylon through his workers/subjects). Please go & verify. Matthew 19:4-6 & 1 Corinthians 8:6,is Jesus the source of creation? @ 1 Corinthians 8:6,Is Paul LYING against Jesus? Mark 13:19 " the beginning of Creation which God created" according to Jesus Christ. |

Emusan:Jesus is the first to be BORN by God. The first born of our Father in heaven. In your own Bible every BORN Being is a creature. Oga STOP DECEIVING YOURSELF. Emusan: 'FIRSTBORN from the dead' meaning Jesus the first creature to be raised to life without tasting death again. Hebrew 10:10,"Jesus died once for all time " Emusan: [b]Yes . Reuben the FIRSTBORN of Jacob was SUPERIOR to his siblings, Gen 49:3. Jesus Christ is the FIRSTBORN of God (Hebrew 1:6) is SUPERIOR to other ministering spirits. The term "FIRSTBORN" means the same thing in the whole Bible, every FIRSTBORN is a creature. The word "BORN" can NOT be TWISTED by Trinitarians desperate to hold tight to their man made fallacy. Every BORN being is a creature. Shikena ! [. Emusan:[b]Emusan desperate to TWISTING the holy scriptures. Emusan: "Before all things" , this expression is not in Colossians 1:18, Oga don't add your Maggi to the holy scriptures. "Jesus is the beginning....." Let's use simple example to illustrate.. 1980 is the beginning of Nigeria's victory in AFCON. Is 1980 excluded from Nigeria's victory/participation in AFCON? Therefore Jesus Christ is a creature, the beginning of the creation by God his Father. Trinity shege !!!!!!! |

Westerhoffe: Jehovah God is eternal Ancient of days The source of life No beginning and no end The one who never sleeps or die Jesus Christ, God's firstborn and only begotten has a beginning He is the beginning of God's creation The first to be risen from the dead If you think you'll drag me into your stupid debates, you're fooling yourself 1 Like |

Emusan: Emusan dim wit , your Pastorpreneurs know that "BORN" is synonymous with creatures. They teach you that a BORN again is a Being renewed or new creature. But Una said firstborn can not be created. Trinity robbed the sense God gave you. |
