A lot of people got their admission 2022 November down to early 2023 paid their first deposit using form A. Got their visa instantly waited till August/September before landing UK cos u can't leave except a month to your school resumption.

Most people couldn't pay all their fees cos early last year, banks only processed halve of what students wanted to pay as deposits then later it was reduced even further in some banks. And you have to wait for another 6 months before initiating another form A once the first has been processed
I got my admission in February 2023.


People left funds in banks hoping to get it converted to pounds through form A but gradually the pounds went high within just 3 months.

People just had to wait if things will return back to normal. But you can see where it has gone to. Pounds is now 2000+.

Will you now just return back to Nigeria after spending huge amount of money or to find a way to resolve it

No one could have predicted that the naira will depreciated this bad..
If anyone had told me that cement will be sold at 10500 naira today I wouldn't have believed It.
Before I left Nigeria self it was 4600 I got it.
I am hearing garri is 2000 per paint.

You are 100% right, many that came in from 2021 even before naira prob cheated during visa application by using untouchable loans to get a visa hoping to work and pay fees. They openly discuss and encourage it here, agents openly advertising proof of fund here.

Now they are crying and complaining, opening threads and lying to people about the cause of their predicament.

What would you advised them to do? Return back to Nigeria?

First am not the person who applied 300 jobs opening and got 100 declined. I just picked a few complaints on multiple whatappp forum I am into.

Finally I won't push further to respond to u... The job market is simply responding to demand and supply. That's it.

As market becomes saturated with lots of Indians, China, Nepal who are far ahead of in IT related skills, employer push to the extreme and become selective as they just want the best in not only experience but validity of visa.

I had to cough out 800 pounds, did a forklift course, got the certification before I was able to get employed.

Until you are in ones shoes you will be outside the box to give advice and you will sound just wish and the other person as unwise n not actually given his best to secure a job.

Back to your question, once they get to know through share code or BRP they won't proceed you further unless the job is 20hours or less per week.

For the love of God, avoid Teesside Uni or stay in Newcastle or Leeds if you intend to go there except if you have 70 - 80 percent of your fees

Jobs are very SCARCE (if you like use words of affirmation, your eye will peel) and you dont want to do this with this no-dependent dispensation

Ur sponsor (I e ur school) technically determines ur stay in the UK.... If they have emailed u that u can't resume... I'm afraid there's nothing u can do but to reapply..

It's even likely they would have sent an email to home office to cancel ur current visa,.

The ECO that handled ur case is either very inexperienced or doesn't have sense... because they should have known schools don't allow students resume after resumption date has significantly passed.....and should have notified the school to either issue u another CAS to cover a new resumption date for your course or cancel the application and give u concessions to reapply without a making another payment....... But it is what is at this point.....

If the resumption has significantly passed more than a week or two....I doubt they will let u fly cos enough lectures would have been done.... If it's lab related course...enough lab work would have passed u by.....

But that doesn't mean u should not send the email to ur school ooooo

If u already have a workable plan and funds to Canada or Australia...then all good....
Ur post study is supposed to be an automatic two years extension for u....if u shut that door on urself aand u end up needing it later...it wont be nice oooo

Now, my conclusion, you have to do your risk assessment! Vs Cost benefits. You can't recoup your money back as a student. People recoup Thier investment during PSW cos you can work full time. If money is not the problem you can take some chances!

Another point, is the school ready to refund you of the deposit if you don't come to the UK ? Cos usually when visa issued, they will be reluctant to refund you ( it's well known, the only time you are eligible for a refund is when visa is denied). So I don't want you to lose on both sides

If you plan to school in Teesside, stay outside the Middlesbrough area so you can get a job easily and focus on your studies

The work placement option is nice if you have experience and can get something in your field. 2 yrs also allows you to spread payment and not be under lots of pressure

Like I said earlier, I have explained the reasons why it is extremely unlikely for you to have Psw.

The ball is in your court brother, And everything is in your hands! Think about it before you sign the undertaking! They keep these documents. I made some explanation earlier though.

But please keep all these conversations should in case they wanna make Uturn!. Have printed copies with you at the POE at UK Immigration.

Most importantly, have some amount to top up your school fees with you on arrival, at least to make it 60%, I dont know how much you paid as deposit (they will likely ask for more before you enrolled into the program). UK school are not smiling now.
