EmmanuelScott1: The above is of immaterial impact. The big impact was releasing foreign exchange and increasing banks statutory reserve to 14.5% ratio forcing them to look for Kwacha. Nigeria's reserve ratio is already at 16%. |

What has been the positive impact of Fuel subsidy removal and Floating of the naira So far?? I bet you are about to type another epistle of rubbish! 19 Likes 3 Shares |

izzou:You'd think Remi Tinubu would show a certain level of maturity given all she's achieved in politics, but at the end of the day, the sentiments that influence decision making at the highest levels are just about as base as you'd find between a 16 year old girl and the 19 year old boy looking to impress her. |

GloriousGbola: About body shaming an anonymous person ..that is just an absolute banter cos he might be fatter or close to obesity than you or anyone.. Your takes (my perspective though) is you vehemently find a way to justify whatever nonsense BAT'S dishes. B4 he started...he said and I paraphrase===>I know what I am getting into, don't pity me cos I am equal to the task.. So you finding excuse even in d midst of his extravagant spending spree is nothing but absolute rubbish.. I find it unbelievable that someone as enlihhtened as you are will throw away reasons just to either gaslight or find a reasonable but nonsense excuse while turning a blind eye to inconsequential things eating up chunk of our income... 23 Likes 6 Shares |

GloriousGbola: So many battles to fight as a Nigerian. NIPCO stations are not very common, so many Nigerians are at the mercy of roadside kiosks for LPG needs And i won't be surprised if gas is now adulterated. Our greed plus hardship is enough for us to have Breaking Bad S7 in Nigeria. That was how diesel was adulterated then, until the subsidy on Kerosene was removed |

Segedinho: Because I understand what is going on. This is the same economics my children are being taught. Resources are limited while needs and wants are unlimited Even now there are capital investments I failed to make that are biting me in the ass in this period. It is the same thing happening with the govt on a much larger scale. The FG does not have enough money to meet all the obligations it has traditionally taken on. The fg did not invest in the right infrastructure at the right time. So now we are going to have to rough our way through it. If you want to believe that Atiku or Peter obi could magically grow our depleted reserves, end oil theft, counter tribal/religion based insecurity that's on you. The real argument you have is that the govt has failed to walk the talk in belt tightening. At the barest minimum Tinubu should put consequences to frivolous spend across the board. Though how to implement that is another story 2 Likes |

Theflint1: Like... "The Presidency has decided to suspend the Office of the First lady indefinitely. Because of the government's need to cut costs, her office has been relocated to the Main Villa. Also, she would use her vehicles, although they will be maintained by the Presidency, pending when Nigeria comes out of its economic woes". But no, dem rush wire 1.5 billion, so Remi won't use Uber or Bolt |

izzou: My wife's Siena fan belt is cutting again.this belt has a model number but yet my mechanic can never buy the exact belt. So it will start to cut every three months. One time I decided to engage one of the so called big name Americana workshops that features here. I got the exact same service I get from my mechanic at 3 times the price. Naija story |

GloriousGbola: This is where you are getting it wrong.. A broke country have no relationship with pilgrimages nor 1 billion 4 a committee.. You tend to absorb their excuses of being broke but on the other hand forget their spendings. Do you know that the money spent on Remi's and the senates would do much more in reducing the prices of essential commodities thru subsidy... 15 Likes 1 Share |
