Gospel of enlightenment? The irony. If your wife is an ashawo, it doesn't mean all women are like that. And the fact that you claim to be enlightening people with this kind reasoning is scary

"The Principle of “he who assert must Prove” was coined from the old latin maxim incumbit probatio qui dicit non qui negat which was developed from the old Roman jurisprudence."

You made a first assertion - the burden of proof is on you.
That burden can only shift under very particular circumstances.

True true grin you catch me

But this case we are arguing about qualifies as being 'particular' doesn't it? cool

You can advise her, that's as far as you can go about it without breaking the law. It is not even your duty or job to advice her. What he did, he can be an occupant of prison yard for a period of time. I just hope that social media doesn't reason his matter and escalate it to the point of forcing the police hand.

Eiyah you're trying too hard grin that you've never seen guys drag them doesn't mean it never happens. I myself don't see guys from other parts of Nigeria doing it like we do but I really don't care anyway.

See, I've lived in Warri for 5 years in the past and I can authoritatively tell you that the ladies there dress worse than igbos from a very tender age. Unless you've not lived among them there or are biased, you'd disagree with me on that.

And even if it comes to ashewo matter, bros leave am. Its because igbos are naturally beautiful that you see them stand out at most brothels and men always rush them. Na so oluwa mould them. If they keep ashewo from your tribe and another one from Igbo tribe in front of you you'd waste no time in grabbing the Igbo one cool

All tribes are fully enmeshed in prostitution, if you say its only igbos that are in it the most then refer to the paragraph above as the reason. They just stand out more than other tribes due to quality and not quantity
tongue

Deal with it bro and stop crying out of jealousy
You are quite pathetic bro.
With regard to the first bolded comment, Warri girls may dress worse than Igbo girls but their number is quite negligible compared to Igbo girls who dress indecently.

With regards to beauty, Igbo girls are not the most beautiful in Nigeria. Fulani girls & Shuwa Arab girls beat them hands down with regards to beauty. Those girls don't even dress provocatively or even do make-up, but they are more beautiful than Igbo ladies. How come the Fulani & Shuwa Arab girls are not into prostitution not even as close as Igbo girls even though they are more beautiful than Igbo girls?
Must Igbo girls be fuucked by all manner of men: aboki, truck pushers, agbero, armed robbers, bricklayers, ritualists, etc before they can be able to afford the basic necessities of life?
Why are you making it sound as if prostitution by Igbo girls is something to be proud of?
Of what use is a woman's beauty if she is fuucked by all manner of men?
You must be quite pathetic to think that it is a thing of pride for your Igbo sisters to be drilled by all kinds of men in different brothels & beyond. The desirability of an Igbo prostitute by her customers does not increase her value. She's still a prostitute & part of the dregs of the society. Prostitution is a shameful & undignifying lifestyle.
Lastly, I agree that all tribes are engaged in prostitution but Igbo girls are dominant in prostitution followed by Tiv girls.
You should be ashamed of what your sisters are doing instead of being proud of it.
I can't be jealous of a prostitute, prostitution is a curse & an undignifying occupation bro

"Lady harassed by young mad men after she first harassed herself".

The way you dress is the way you are addressed. But no justification for the harassment because two wrongs do not make a right.
Why initiating first wrong? Indeed first wrong many times often too nauseating, annoying and grievous not to be met with mild or wild correction as dim fits. Unfortunately, the correction is often termed SECOND WRONG.

Imagine the two idiots who call themselves men harassing the young girl.At their age,Aig has already become the MD of Access Bank. Instead of them to mind their business and focus on how to get themselves out of poverty, they are busy using that energy to harass a young girl. These two bastards should be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.You are not the girl's father, you don't have any right to tell her how to dress!

Ok brother, but still, there are respectful ways to express disapproval, that is one thing, public harassment and shaming is another thing. Our people tend to behave like wild animals...

You're right, thats why I said condemn the dressing. An elderly lady can walk up to her and let her know that her dressing is not appropriate for outdoors...

Let me ask you a very sincere question.

How many guys have been harassed or embarrassed for sagging their trousers, or wearing a singlet or tight small shorts outside? Or even going bare chested in public? How many, tell me?

My first sentence has addressed your question. Thats why I said condemn the dressing. An elderly lady can walk up to her and let her know that her dressing is not appropriate for outdoors...

This is one of the consequences of unemployment. See able bodied men assembled during working hours to fool themselves. Is there a law against indecent dressing? If there is, why not get the authorities to come pick her up? How many men have been harassed for going out with button open or wearing singlets?

We complained when SARS were arresting and harassing people based on mode of dressing then perpetrate and applaud the same thing when it suits us.

I hope the girl knows someone that knows someone. When the guy is found somewhere we will all blame Fulani herdsmen not knowing his inability to mind his business or unemployment is what got him there.

Oohhh, you're trying too hard and crying at the same time grin let me accept all the negatives first so you can smile small.

YES igbo girls are into prostitution

YES it is a terrible thing to do but it has and will still be done right from the ancient time till after you're dead and gone.

YES they are very beautiful hence the patronage from men from all works of life right from billionaires to touts. I mean, for crying out loud it is a 'money for hand - back for ground' matter so why acting myopic? undecided

YES I feel bad about all these above buy hey, I am not a hypocrite or myopic cool I'm an igbo man.

Now to answer all your balablu grin

NO the arab shuwa women are not more beautiful than igbos. I am over 30 years old and I have never even seen one of these women yiu speak of till today. Even if them dey highest na fine face dem get, no nyashh or brest cool na only face I go chop? cheesy

NO fulani are not the most beautiful, they could be the most Conservative. I've not even interacted with much in my life except maybe secondary school time whereby my mind no even dey women.

NO never say arab/fulani women don't indulge in prostitution. That's your myopia (and maybe hypocrisy) speaking. Quench it so you will grow to be a better person. Those women raise hijab and bend down for doggy at weird nkoro's in the dim sky cool

And finally I don't even want to know the tribe you represent anymore. You've spoiled the banter with your myopia and I don't like such mentality in my mentions.

Adam was naked until his eyes "opened" and he saw Eve's dangling apples and pink openings.
I agree with you that our forebears lived barely naked comfortably.
But just like Adam, our eyes have "opened".
Any female dressing provocatively is seeking to swallow or be swallowed simple.

[quote author=NairaOcean post=128570604]The young men who insisted that she must go back home and change her revealing outfit, poured water on her and taunted her around the park. The lady however pushed back and asked why they were “embarrassing” her. shocked

As people flocked to the scene, the lady conceded and boarded a bike to leave.
