Any time I see all this teenagers of nowadays being unnecessary difficult and naughty, imagine a girl of fifty telling how ineffective postinor 2 has become or a boy of 16 who is always high on hard drugs.

During my teenage age ( secondary school) I was hawking corn for my Mom, I had a lot of responsibilities despite not being the first child. I can't remember teenagers that are this wasteful during my time.

What did you do during your teenage years!

I was depressed...

My papa no let me do hustling, now I come dey lazy

I was hawking egg roll, fish roll and buns for my late mom. Then I left home to serve my uncle and his wife, just to go to school, I worked day and night, took care of this family like my life depends on it.

i don work for building sites,carry sand,cement at that age GOD help us.

omo that's a lot, me at 16 I was selling cooked corn. I go carry am for head dey Waka ( this was usually after school sha)

I realized that my only option was to work harder and hustle more, since I couldn't settle for a traditional job with a salary. I was already earning more than most people with regular jobs, even while I was still a student

I no too hustle sha but i was a child of get inside.
Looking at my mates playing and their 'joyful' shouts, made me long 4 it but found solace in books. God! I love reading to my bones.

I mostly withdrew into myself

I liked to be alone, I hardly talk

My mum was worried but she like other Nigerians don't really understand mental health

So far as u are fed, accommodated and clothed even if poorly

Mental and psychological health is foreign to them

I did not until I was an adult

I had insomnia at some point

When I was well over 18, around my early 20s, I started smoking weed
It helped with the depression but it has its own problems which made me dictched it later...


In all, I didn't enjoy my teenage years at all at all

I started hustling like mad at 19,slept on the street. 20 was terrible,21 no soo bad.22,not soo bad also. 23,was hell n I mean it. 24,I’m into networking and I pray I get to where I want to be.
