Well I wouldn’t give him the pos immediately after serving the ban. Let him handle a club side first.
AndSunGorilla:

In as much as I like Siasia I think he's seriously tainted and shouldn't be appointed as SE coach.

Interim capacity...

Does it lead up to the WCQ in June? Or NFF is planning to hire someone soon

Honestly I’m okay with our own Guordiola. Let’s see how he performs with a good goalkeeper. lol

Igbo people have a proverb, if you know this one, you don't know that one. So you master your technique and that alone will keep you dominating other teams? Omo this is some impractical idealistic tripe

Should we call it Bold Absoluteism or what?

JUST IN : Eguavoen steps in as Super Eagles interim coach.

He will be assisted by Finidi George, who has stayed the longest with Peseiro among all indigenous coaches appointed to work with the Portuguese by the Amaju Pinnick led board for 22 months.

Maestro will be back to the national team soon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You this Man

African Pep is back! Heeiiiiiiiii undecided undecided

So Jibola, welcome o. Uhmmm.

Who was that suggesting Salisu? Make we kukuma call Ladan Bosso now undecided undecided undecided

My fears about continuity are coming true.

Many may not fancy JPes but NfF(It's a Nigerian thing) has a perchance for making predecessors look better than the new ones. Echelon Ineptitude.

So who do u prefer to coach us now?
It's not his choice of coach that made me say what I said oo. It's the reason as in Sao tome and Principe? Haba na

Personally I don't have any preference. Anybody who can do a good job, I'm fine with that.

As many people may not like to admit, the game changer in Peseiro’s SE was Nwabali.
If you have a shaky keeper, you get an unstable defense.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Daninya33: 6:54pm On Mar 01
A substantive coach will be announced soon.

Cerezo will act as interim coach before a final decision is reached.
The Technical Director steps in as interim coach if the position of Head Coach is vacant.

Personally I prefer Michael Emanalo to be the Technical Director of NFF.

Hopefully Amuneke becomes coach soonest.

Let our Amuneke sef go be director of something or coach of one Npfl club or something
His results in that office will speak for him
That's all I'm saying..

All of us shouting Amuneke na with evidence of over 5+ years when he showed promise..
His recent results have not been too complimentary
And the recent sef na years something no be months o

Nwakali is one of Eguaveon's favorite players
He is not.

If he was, he would have been invited for the Ghana match.

Nwabali's inclusion was a masterstroke
And I commend Jpes's boldness to start him, after leading us all to believe Uzoho was his No1

For once, I think the NFF has got it right. Eguavoen shouldn't have been sacked in the first place. The Ghana loss was on Uzoho and the Tunisia flop was on harsh refereeing and bad luck. I totally enjoyed Egu and wish him a permanent contract with the SE.

Plus, my gee Bolaji Omobolanle will be back😎

Kindly note I'm not trying to start a fight, I just want to know why you think he should be coach
What are you basing that thought on?

First of all, there is nothing like found out because there is a term called MASTERY. As long as you keep mastering your philosophy, you will stay ahead and win more. It is also easier to dominate in the long run.

Than spending your days trying to adapt with up-to-date tactics.

Get a sound philosophy and keep building on it. That is the only way to long term success. Any other thing is less.

Perfecting possessive play means improving in all aspects. Technique, positioning, movement, passing etc.

Than looking for short wins.

I believe the most important aspect of football are the players then followed by tactics. Without top talented players, you will not win much regardless of your tactics. Spain dominated because of the talent at their disposal and when those set became old they suffered terrible defeats despite the same tactics, coach and administration. Pep is successful because of the constant supply of talents beyond every other team in the league.
There is a reason why top players are sold for crazy amounts.

The most important job of the football federation is to find a way to scout the best players in the country.

With Uzoho performance, starting an alternative no be boldness o. But let’s give him the credit for listening to calls from several quarters.
