FCTA Confirms Looting Of Warehouse In Abuja by chokekachy: 6:40pm On Mar 03
The Agricultural and Rural Development Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration confirmed the looting of its warehouse in Dei-Dei on Sunday, by residents in the FCT, over the economic hardship in the country.

Confirming the incident to our correspondent, the spokesperson for the ARD Secretariat, Zakari Aliyu, said the Secretary, had earlier visited the warehouse, where the residents had looted everything in the store and vandalised the place, removing the roofs and windows.

He added that the FCT Minister of State, Dr Mariya Mahmoud, and the FCT Mandate Secretary, Agric Secretariat, Lawan Geidam, will again visit the facility on Monday where more detailed information will be given regarding the incident.

“We visited the scene of the incident this morning. We visited with the Secretary and some other officials of the Secretariat. So, by tomorrow, the Secretary I think with the Minister of State will pay another visit to that place. I am sure that a lot of information that will be useful to you, you will get it. If you can just be patient, tomorrow you will get all the information you need. If you go there, there is nothing there. If you know that place, do you know that they removed the roof, and the windows inclusive, apart from the food items?”, he said.

Everybody in nigeria is greedy and corrupt!
Including pastors, imams and all religious leaders

Those abusing Tinubu and Co are just angry that they didn't get the chance to steal their own.

When those in government were telling hungry Nigerians to exercise patience and give the present administration more time, I laughed. They failed to understand that hunger doesn’t understand patience for too long. Once hunger strikes, you have to do something about it. Food is the language hunger understands not patience. Especially when there’s no hope of food coming.

Those preaching patience & asking for more time for BAT are feeding fat from our common patrimony yet they expect the masses to endure & enjoy later in an imaginary future.

Why warehouse food when the people you govern are hungry? Share the food! People are hungry for Christ’s sake. The cassava (garri & fufu), agbado (maize), ewa (beans) that were used to campaign with are out of most people’s reach. They are not affordable to most people.

Let them take the country back to where they met it & just govern it like that without adding or subtracting anything.

To those that were shouting “It will favour me and my family” I keep asking, how far? I hope the favour is going well? Indeed election has consequences.

People are hungry, so what do you expect?
A hungry individual can do anything, hence you see most of our Nigeria girls with high body count due to hunger and poverty. Hence you see our youths indulging in crimes and theft. When hungry beat you, I'm 100% sure say you go keep home training for one corner and do the needful. Though poverty isn't a valid reason for crime but I really don't blame them, laslas even the government sef dey loot on a low-key. What do I even know sef aside enlightening my fellow men nationwide with the good news.

The problem here isn't actually the hunger but people are living without purpose and ambition.
The government needs to create certain programs that will incorporate giving people ideas, purpose and ambition.

I wish I can work with the government to achieve this. I have so many ideas I have well drafted

Tinubu has destroyed this country. Imagine if it's someone's warehouse looted, how would they recover with this uncertain economy

I'm not a fan of tinubu at all but I believe the northern leaders are instigating their wards to do all these to tarnisg Tinubu's government the more. Trailers of goods/foods are being looted regularly in some parts of the north now they are targeting warehouses.

With this looting of warehouses and trailers conveying foodstuffs, it is clear to the blind that Nigeria is edging gradually to what we pray against. Government should rise up to make the lives of people better to avert it.
