BALKAN Airlines, the Bulgarian Airlines. The one our badmouth people nicknamed PANGOLO was about the cheapest airline flying from Lagos to Europe in those days.

AEROFLOT, the russian Airlines was another cheap communist airline that flew the Lagos - Europe route in those days.

Both Airlines had their Salesoffices/Outlets at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

Were both of them LOCAL airlines like what this thread is obviously about

I remember flying First Nation (ABV-LOS) in 2012. Plane was like a flying molue. Later learnt it was an attempt to resurrect Bellview by you know who?

IRS! Man, memories. Used to fly IRS from LOS to ABV. Also did LOS to Maiduguri once The best in-flight service I ever had in those days! Best food, nice cabin crew (males and females). I think it's owned by one northern person.

OP, you forgot Albarka Air, owned by Col. Buba Marwa and First Nation Owned by Tinubu which took my 25k one-way flight ticket fee from Abuja to lagos but never refunded me till today. God dey.
