I hold three US visas (my second was even via a Dropbox) and have traveled to the US about ten times in all.
On my 4th application, I was denied. The guy said I was planning to abscond. My family is here, and I hold good job here too. Never had any issues on my previous visits.

It all depends on the consulate officer.

I requested to schedule an appointment, after keying in my payment receipt reference number, they responded that my request have been received and that they will send me approval email after they have finish reviewing it

Please I want to ask, how long will it take them to review my application before approving it? Or is my application having issue because i can't get any appointment date on my dashboard

They have thousands of applicants waiting for an appointment date like you. Be patient, your application has no issues.
My last application took less than a week though it had an expedited request. Unfortunately, I was denied still.

Hello, please I applied for USA visa since 2022 and I got 2024 date, but the issue is my expected day-of travel was 2023 on my form, do I need to fill another form that will carry 2024 travel dates? Also I booked hotel in 2023 which has been cancelled,do I book another?

And which documents do I need to go with. Thanks

They won't treat applications that are more than 1 year old (or so). Yes, I advice that you fill another DS form and go with both application confirmation letters. Hotel booking is the least of their interests.

Please I have a low gpa 2.0/5, please any schools I can apply to I’m really frustrated, I’m at the edge of giving up

1) And don't keep your bags and phones with those boys at the entrance of the embassy. They will charge you N4000 to N10000 for upkeep of your property. Those boys will disabuse your mind that you won't be allowed to enter the embassy with your possession. NOTE: There is a place at the waiting room before they screen you where you can keep your possessions without charge, though at owners discretion where embassy will not be liable for any loss.

2) Don't allow anyone who cleverly approach you saying he wants to help you sort out and arrange your documents. He or she will charge you heavily afterwards. The embassy staffs will sort it out for you during screening without charge.

3) Also ensure you print your documents and make everything available because business centres there bill crazily and charge madly. They charge you a printed page of a document for N500 to N1000 or more.

Please I am encountering an issue with my application for a new appointment. I am unable to remove the previous receipt number which I initially used to book an appointment. As a result, I cannot input my new MRV receipt number to schedule a new appointment with a new reference number.
