This is the problem with today's game. What is Mctom's role and responsibility on the field? Who suffers when he fails in his role? Is the team able to cover for his lack of presence in the midfield, so that he just focus on getting into the box? When he goes on a dry run where he does not score and assist, what will be his fall back contribution to the team as a midfielder?

This is why we are where we are with Rashford. He is free to play rubbish as long as he scores a goal. What does he contribute to the team when he is not scoring? Or you think they will just be scoring every game?

We complained about the express in our midfield, you know why that is? Even Dalot was the one going to the midfield in front of the defense when we wanted to play out from the back, while Mctom was far away expecting the ball to miraculously get to the opponent's box

I ask again, what is Bruno's role in this team this season? Can we say ETH is the one killing Bruno or Bruno is just done? Nothing is working for him. He hardly gives good crosses, through balls, can't hold on to balls under pressure, does a lot of whining etc.

I’ve been watching Dalot and man has improved several aspects of his game, especially his intelligence in possession. He’s attempting more long range passes and they’re accurate. Just needs a little more to start making accurate crosses. Hojlund will score goals.

We are about to witness great things from Dalot. Mark my words.

Forson didn't start a game after Hojlund's injury just because he's a finer shade of black. He was obviously doing something right in training.

I'm glad Amad was able to at least show something on the pitch. Though i doubt he'll start games with Hojlund back. Best front 3 still remain Rashford, Hojlund, Garnacho.

By how much is Garnacho better than Amad? I don’t see any reason why they can’t share minutes instead of overplaying Garnacho. Amad is even the one who is a natural RW. That Una coach daft

Scoring and assisting while abdicating his midfield duties is not what we want to see
Mainoo was overworked yesterday because Mctominay cannot be arsed to do anything in midfield

When people here fall out with a manager, they'll have you believe he's the worst and shouldn't even be managing at high school level. That's the reason trying to say there's a reason certain decisions are being made makes one look like a fool.

Actually I believe this guy ought to be our muller. He should not near that midfield at all, he should play as supporting striker rather. If ten hag can twist is formation to make MC tominay a supporting striker , it will really be good for the team. But still I dont want him to be in this team next season if he is still want to play as a midfielder because he offer nothing in that midfield

It's all about patience. If he's cut for it, he'll get his chance and take it. Remember Maino early this season. Man's now starting every single game. People were crying about Garnacho not staring earlier this season. Some are now saying he should be rotated. Every manager wants his best players on the pitch.

Tbh, I don't rate Amad that highly. Never did. Probably the reason I find it easier to understand. I hope I'm wrong like I was about Maino. Thought he was a good player that needed to be eased into the team gradually. But man's actually something extremely special.

Yeah, i saw the highlights. Mantato and Baumann came on as substitutes. It seems Baumann is being fast tracked into the Under-21s which is a bit surprising considering his relatively small size.

Forson was slick although he didn’t seem to affect the game too much. McNeil was really cool with the assist for the second goal and that sublime finish to make it 3.
