Yea right. Story for the God’s. So is her life better now cause she’s earning more? Makes your statement false because she’s earning more does not make her richer than the aunt in Nigeria. She spends a lot more to survive.

The pay check if converted to our local currency is what most professors don't end in Nigeria and this the comparison is awkward .
Some of the people in the corridors of power simply lack what to say.

They take those jobs overseas and use the change to take care of their unemployed, underemployed and underpaid loved ones in Nigeria. That’s how bad Nigeria is.

Blind people describing parts of a camel or elephant.

So you can make a minimum wage of 15 dollars per hour, roughly $30,000.00 a year or about 30 million naira a year!
Before you celebrate, realize that you have to pay 24 million for rent O.

Left with 6 million a year to feed, transport and other expenses like clothes. So, do you now realize how people who made 30 million naira a year abroad starve while those who make the same amount are big men in Nigeria?

Even educated one like doctors compare their salaries in Nigeria to those in the U.S as if young base doctors in the U.S do not pay rent, student loan, buy cloths etc.

Na ignorance go kill us for Nigeria.

How can someone that has 10 million naira after his savings, selling family properties out of which 2m naira go for ticket and visa; expect 8 million naira to last him abroad for more a month. The same amount that can start small business here.

Our mutual Don do.

How many Nigerians earn 30 million per year?

Oga please don't make me laugh. And 10 million to start business? 😆 🤣 grin

Alright. Carry on.

Good Luck to Nigerians

Nigerians at home will do the same jobs you’re talking about if your husband or our government is willing to pay us the same salary that those living abroad are earning.

But the pay is more. That's what drives them.
And I agree they pay more to survive.
A lot of people do so many baseless comparison.

My aunt isn't living a great life, but she's doing better than the one earning 35k.

The PROBABILITIES are not the same. The chances of a 30 year old Nigerian owning a car in Nigeria is small compared to other Nigerians of the same age in the Anglo-West.

Let's not be modest, just factual. Your aunt likely lives at a much higher standard compared to her mates in Nigeria.

but in Nigeria we have many. At least 80% of Nigerians cannot afford 3 square meal daily nor have the means to buy a bag of rice that is less than $55. In America they have food banks for those who cannot afford to feed. It's total free and they do not have to belong to a political party or know someone before they could have access to it. Do you have that here in Nigeria?

You are shifting the goalposts. Before, you said Americans don't beg for alms, Americans always eat three square meals.

I bust your bubbles and now you are changing the narrative.

Your only view about America is through movies and hearsay. You are not in a position to argue with someone who lives there.

If your life is not better in Nigeria, that doesn't mean other people's life are like yours

So, shut it.

even with bill and expenses working abroad is much better than Nigeria. Lets even compare their pension in the UK and us to Nigeria. My uncle got a lump sum of 300k naira and collects 50k per month and it not regular. A fire brigade collects 30k lump sum and is being paid 20 per annum and he gets government pension 20k per year. With expenses he is better off and can come back to live in Nigeria has a king and still do other businesses. I don't know why people can just think very well before making judgements.

how much is a bag of rice before your emilokan failed government came into office and how much is it now? Even if you claim to be a billionaire in Nigeria which i do not have any right to doubt your claim, at least we all know 80-90% of Nigerians are poor. Nigeria has been a poor nation over the past 30-35 years but APC came and make it worse that most households cannot afford 3 square meal daily. Only in Africa, Nigeria doesn't come close to top 10 nations with decent minimum wage, while your corrupt leaders are one of the highest paid politicians in the world.

Like i told you, US has food banks for the few vulnerable ones to eat freely without knowing anyone or belonging to a political party.

A cleaner in US can build a mansion in Nigeria, while a level 17 in government civil service or a bank manager will struggle to build.

Tinubu has turned Nigerians to almajiri and food bandits. Nigerians cannot see a lorry or trailer carrying food items now without looting it grin

There's dignity in labour but can't expect that from a drug baron's "Bonnie". A janitor in the West earns better than a doctor working in a government hospital in Nigeria.

The average medical doctor's salary in Nigeria is $6000 AUD/year. Compare that with other countries. For instance, the average doctor's salary is between $120,000 - $300,000/year in Australia.
Best decision of my life since 2011.

How many Nigerians earn ordinary 200k? Don't forget less than 5% of Nigerians have 500k in their bank account. Nigerians are poor and majority cannot afford 3 square meal daily. I cannot even compare Nigeria to Libya because i know Libya is far better than Nigeria. Comparing Nigeria to US or Canada is like comparing a dead person to someone alive in good health. They're incomparable. Even your so called useless corrupt leaders literally beg to have their passport for themselves and families as dual citizenship. Your so called corrupt leaders steal your Commonwealth resources to buy properties in these countries. Their children school and live there. They visit these countries for their healthcare and that of their families. Your country is gone even before you were born. Your children and grandchildren will still join you their father and grandfather in singing "E go better" grin

E go better since 1914 grin

Making it sound as if the playing field is level or close to being level. They do that because of things like reward, security, privileges and safety.
Can you wash dead bodies and still build mansions in Nigeria?
Can a Chinese employer bully you in UK?
Can they hide your file in US or Italy or UAE?
Can kidnappers abduct you on the highway or robbers block roads or police abduct you and empty your account?

She is being fed bullshît in the castle in Abuja.
My friend was driving through Abeokuta high way and he saw the road blocks and he was asking me why did they put woods on high way like that, do they want to create an accident scene. I asked him to pack and asked the police men, because if you ask me, na who make I ask. Anything goes in Nigeria

A cleaner in the US would build a mansion in Nigeria ? You are such a jester grin grin.

You guys just talk in the name of exaggeration. Do you know what a mansion is?

What do you make of US? A country-generating dollars? I have seen your kinds in the US, being in the US and still asking where is the US. , when reality doesn't match his expectations.

Too much of Hollywood movie is bad.
