Chelsea also made Sterling do a video call with him, I think that kinda swayed the boy
I thought he left Norway because of the cold and Chelsea jumped on the opportunity.

Actually, Finidi is my second pick after Amunike. I am not help bent on experience. Heck Guardiola had no experience when he was smoking the likes of Klinsmann and Alex Ferguson.

However, the NFF have really treated Amunike bad because they know he should get the nod before Finidi.
NFF treated Emma Amunike badly?

Coach of SE opponents South Africa Hugo Broos seems to have made a surprise move to Tunisia.

Sterling/chelsea established contact when he was on his way to Norway, I think that turned his head and made the cold weather excuse an easy one

Bottom line is that we have a match by June. WCQ. The earlier we know our coach the better. If the NFF cannot give it to that Angola coach, they d better keep finidi on the Job to continue. The earlier the better.

Valid point sir but another major achievement is qualifying Tanzania for the ANC after almost FOUR decades and since 2019 and Amunike's sack haven't qualified again. However, he failed in club soccer as a manager.

In 2019 Tanzanian qualified under the 24 team format. Any coach can qualify them under this format. We've seen groundbreaking performances from evening teams that might have smaller recognition like Comoros and Mauritania in the AFCON

But remember they didn't make it to 2021 ANC.

If Hafiz Umar Ibrahim's trial at Chelsea is successful, he will potentially sign a long-term contract and loan out to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.

If he does well on loan he can make it.
He just has to cut it in the French league.

I understand he will get more playing time to develop in the Nordish leagues

I read that Chelsea offered more, the Norwegian league would have been better for his development sha
Yea... When it comes to nurturing talents, Chelsea ain't good with this.

If he can do well on loan, he should cut off Chelsea for good. If not na so so loans till he reach 30 years.

Let us take it from my perspective. Amunike was supposed to be appointed a long time ago. The NFF just kept dribbling themselves.

The truth is NFF often look for a coach they can control
A coach who can play along
Not one who will stick to his plan

Ok we have Qualifier coming up why not employ the best coach to lead the team why an interim coach

So from the beginning Finidi has been given an edge over other

They will now say Finidi has done well ever 2 game and so is the substantive coach

Ok give Amunike 2 friendly match
Let's also judge him

They won't also keep in mind that Amunike has been sabotaged twice. The U17 where he was owed all through his employment, and also in the U20 where they kept his team on a bad pitch to lose their only game, which was crucial to survival. So, I am not too excited with Amunike becoming the coach of the Super Eagles.

LOL. So how come they did not qualify for 39 years before Amunike's arrival.

makes sense. The cold excuse was somehow considering there are Nigerians in Norway.

Stop beating about the bush.

Tanzania qualified as runners up in their group. Were 2019 AFCON not 24-teams they wouldn't have.

That's just facts and it is taking nothing from the good work he did then. Under this 24-team format we see that they've qualified again.

Chidera Ejuke's versatility and technique has seen him play in positions such as the defensive midfield.

LOL. So how come they did not qualify for 39 years before Amunike's arrival.

They were 16 teams for the large part and they stood no chance. At some point Nigeria was struggling under the 16 team format, though in-between that format where we failed to qualify, we came back to win the next one only for us to fail to qualify after that. The thin margin between African big teams and small teams was becoming blurry. The need to expand it to 24 teams in 2019 saw us come 3rd. Prior to that we did not qualify for 2015 which Ivory Coast won and 2017 which Cameroun won. In 2013 as well, Cameroun did not qualify. We won in 2013. But we failed to qualify in 2012 where Zambia won. If we had continued with the 16 team method, I dare say it will be difficult for us how much more Tanzania.
