Earning peanuts in a working system is far better than the riches in this country. Is it not the same reason they're traveling abroad for treatment?

But he his saying the truth now.

So a salary of 200k would afford you a maid, a driver etc? Some of you just buy into fallacies despite knowing the truth, simply because you admire the personality of certain people.

200k salary cannot even afford you a Tokunbo car and a good apartment even if you saved for 5 years. In Nigeria today, you can hardly save anything from 200k ...

Sigh... Mr. Air Peace, how many Nigerians living in Nigeria earn up to 200,000 monthly?!!

Even most young graduate Pharmacists and Nurses don't earn up to that amount per month... Fact check me!

How much do healthcare professionals earn in the UK?!!

We are talking minimum wage here.

Is 200k minimum wage in Nigeria?!!

I dislike UK with a passion, but I hate it when you Anti-Japa people lie idiotically.

This is a big lie. Someone earning 1k in UK is better than someone earning 400k in Nigeria - current exchange rate.

People earning 1k in UK are able to save 200k naira every month. Don't argue if you've never been to Europe. The only expensive thing in Europe is rent. Once you pay the rent, the food and transportation are almost similar.

You share flats with people and share bills. Enjoy social amenities and infrastructure.

Again, can't people cut their clothes according to their size?

Being happy is not about your account balance, if you have settled the most Important things, even if you are left with just N100k balance, you would feel rich and happy like the richest people in the world.

I totally disagree.
2000 pounds is small but you don’t compare it with 200,000 naira.

Not entirely true because the conducive environment, constant electricity supply, good roads and security they enjoy can not be compared to what we have in Nigeria.

The smell in some areas in Nigeria can make you fall sick due to constant power failure in this hot weather climate causing serious heat waves. Every house will now open their windows to the street with smell of heat and Early morning breath oozing from this houses. Omor it's a nightmare. You can't experience such abroad.

If youre talking in terms food, it's cheaper over there though maybe our Nigerian foods are on the high side but you'll still be able to afford it.

It's only the rent I know it's expensive and their taxes but if you cut your coat according to your cloth, you'll live fine. Avoid those their big apartments and you'll have enough change to roll by and still save something.

Life na management until you can Stand on your feet.

In all I still prefer the environment there this una place don dey smell too much.
Well said. Nothingdoyou

Things are a bit cheaper in Nigeria because Nigeria has so much raw materials. If Nigeria imports raw materials like the UK does, things will be cheaper in the UK. Check the prices of Chinese products in the UK and the prices of the same products in Nigeria. Use a smart phone for instance.

The price of Chinese import in Nigeria is cheaper than the price of Chinese import in UK. And it's not because of raw materials. It's because of all the extra tax.

Oga Allen I will rather earn that 2000 pounds than earn 200k naira.

Wait sef, where is the job offering 200k in Nigeria?
I earn 37k and it lasts just 2weeks.

For him to think 200k can afford a maid and a driver speaks a lot about the mindset of these rich people. 200k NA money for Nigeria? You can only say it's money when you've only started earning it or you don't have a family.

I disagree undecidede.g by the time you fuel gen buy food stuffs, comot Tfare then nothing remain. Meanwhile with 2000 £ you can still have something to save because you don't need to fuel any gen or car there are lots of cheap transport like subways, cable cars etc and lots of social amenities.
The practical example is how many change e go remain if you buy 2 bags of from 200k and 2000£ grin .
Earning salary in Nigeria is just only for feeding, salary no longer sustain here in Nigeria unlike in the advanced world. This man should stop talking nonsense angry
