We all met and agreed that nobody should do anything on the land until we are able to take a final decision. You know what happened? These guys thought they were too smart and they started selling the land.”

Let the Igbo man respond to what Wike said up there before we judge him...

Abi ooooo, finance minister can take 100 billion dollars loan without the approval of president. After all, he is the man in charge of finances.

The same way the custom general can open and close border with taking authority from president.

Pls stop contributing when discussing govt policy and decision.

Yes, if the president is not disposed and the VP signs.

How can you meet and say nobody should do anything on a land the owner had gotten court judgements to develop?

Are you mad? grin

Wike, you erred to have demolished the Igbo man's estate. I put it to you that you did it because you hate Igbos.

Let's get to the meat of the matter, there was no minister by the time the man had his papers approved, but there were directors and the directors approved the deal. You should respect that.

It happens everywhere, government business cannot stop because the FG hasn't appointed ministers yet. There is no laws that says government approvals of anything must wait till a particular official shows up, there's always a stop gap in every office.

So u know the laid down rule more than the minister
Bcis u are igbo u failed to read between the line

Some people like to play victim mentality. You do not have proper documents.
DonFreshmoney:
The question is was the paper of Ukachukwu genuine or not.. Ministers don't approve or sign off land in Abuja, it's the work of the Director of lands, survey and urban planning in FCTA.

If the paper is genuine, why demolishing his property?? Your eye dey the land Wike not because there was no Minister.

Igbos always make it sound as if they are being treated unfairly whereas they are the only tribe who are getting best treatment from others everywhere in the country.

Please, what made the documents improper? A land document approved and signed by a designated director of lands at a time the office of the minister was vacant, not even that the minister was not on seat. Haba! So, government business most halt because there was no political head(minister).

No, I think Igbos are so daring and forthright in business that other people are afraid of what they may do if the competition table is levelled, so they attack Igbo interests to stay in the competition.
You need to read history without bias, antecedents and present rules of engagement. The exceptional Igbos with good conduct and high level of intelligence have been override by their bad & ill mannered majority.

My brother, you are the one denying the history you had read. The Igbo were, are still, and forever will be dominant in business and every other spheres of human achievement, despite the attacks, like what brought us to this thread. Its an innate manifestation of many decades of careful grooming that has translated to a culture of success. I will have time to lecture you about this in subsequent threads or posts.

What a news.
We can just conclude that only the minister can physically sign on building approval and not the ministry or a Director acting on delegated authority in the said property. If you have a land or house in Abuja and the current minister or the previous minister in power then did not sign or give you Building approval, but just his ministry or a delegated authority you are in deepest shit in the near future.

Reacting to the allegation in a press briefing, Wike said the land allocated to Ukachukwu did not have the approval of any minister as his predecessor.

----Wike.
This must be a lie from the pit of hell. Without ministerial consent, nobody would go to acquire such massive land in Abuja and start developing on it. Let's find out if the developer has any ties to APC losing in Abuja last presidential election.

Its not possible for Wike to lie about when the allocation was done or who did it. These are public records any lawyer can access for you for a tiny fee.

What other reasons made him destroy the property that is approved, has won in the courts apart from ethnic bias? The man is right. Wike did this because it was owned by someone related to the people he killed many of his brothers in Obigbo, Rivers state.

Nicholas Ukachukwu is pained that because he is an Igbo man, he was not allowed to get away with an illegality of buying land in Abuja without going through True process while the Fulanis and Yorubas were allowed to get away with the same thing.

Well, crying victim mentality for being an Igbo slave will not help him. The only thing that can help him is Igbo presidency. Let him start donating money to Igbo political power and channel his energy to Igbo president actualisation so that he will enjoy any illegality he wants to enjoy in Abuja like his Yoruba and Fulani friends.

Like Awolowo said 'Take thee the political establishment and every other thing will be added unto you'.

Crying will not help. Sorry though for your loss.

Wike is a lawless rascal.
Why demonish a property that has 2 subsisting court orders in favor of the owner.
The proper course of action is to address the matter in court and seek to overturn the orders if there are grounds to do so.. Wike should be in jail by now for contempt if this happened elsewhere

Nigeria is a sham country, and foreign investors are reading the news. How can a government minister demolish a property when the owner has won in the courts?

This is just insane.

If this land was owned by some tribes, Wike will.never demolish it, even going against court orders. This is the trouble why Nigeria has remained a sham country, where investors could be hurt after making their investment in the open and possessing both legal government papers and court judgements.
I agree with you. If Wike is so "strict" as he now claims, why the hell are there still cows in the city center? Why are there still iron kwandem hustlers who are actually thieves in the city center?
