Dear poster, Please be very careful, you guys think you are talking to fools? You think you can ride on the citizens for too long? You dare mention America as part of your narrative to placate and pander towards your evil doers? Did you mention the social security and welfare the American government provides for it's citizens? What about the value of their currency and economy? The responsiveness and responsibility shown the every American? I wish you and your family the pains in multiple abundance every Nigerian is going through. Big fool. 4 Likes 1 Share |

hazureal:This band ish is a scam the discos use in overcharging their customers. Let me explain. For instance, in Abuja, Area 1 to Area 11, and from Wuse Zone 1 to Zone 7, from Galadimawa to Apo and surrounding areas are all supposedly on Band A, but these areas I mentioned, some of them don't see up to 3 hours of light most days. Now, can you imagine that elite areas like Maitama, Asokoro, Wuse 2, Aso drive are also on same Band A, but they experience more than 20hrs of light per day. The whole band of a thing is a scam. If they go ahead and implement the proposed tariff, it would only make customers to bypass their meter. 2 Likes |

Winning123: It is you that should be thinking, sir. That $1 for a litre of water is 0.06% of the minimum wage in the US. But a 75cl bottle of water in Nigeria is a whopping 0.5% of our minimum wage, and an average human needs at least 3 litres of water to stay healthy. That means a Nigerian will spend 2% of his minimum wage to get the 3litres, while an American will spend just 0.18% to get the same 3 litres. The bottom line is, our minimum wage is a pittance. Don't justify it by comparing prices of stuffs in US with Nigeria 3 Likes 1 Share |

I am on band A and I don't get the stated 20 hours per day, It's a struggle to get 10 hours a day. And now tariff is 225/kwh, So you mean I would spend 10k and get less than 40units, What for exactly!! 3 Likes |

noobody: Old boy! This thing dey pain you die o...lol...close eye take out a loan facility and do solar-inverter installation. With proper load management, you won't even switch to Nepa when there is light because your inverter setup will be serving you well. I am an solar, and even with extravagant usage of my appliances (like TV being on for almost 15hrs a day, fridge on all through the day), I don't even consume up to 30% of my bank before solar power refills it. Most times, I forget there is even Nepa light. I am even too lazy to switch to Nepa light sef. I think NGOs need to spring up to help Nigerians access solar energy affordably 4 Likes |
