Any Country btw the USA, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, China, South Korea should be our possible options for Friendly Games going to the Olympics! Me still trying to figure out another Country that’s very good in Tiki Taka/Possession style of Play like the Spanish side that the Falcons can test themselves with before the Olympics, Sweden are pretty okay but no body does it better than Spain!! With our Physicality, Strength, Pace, Compact Defense and Athleticism in General the girls can match them..! 4 Likes 1 Share |

Halimatu Ayinde vs Aitana Bonmati ?? Can Alozie marks Mariona who’s arguably one of the most underrated player in the Women’s game?? Right now this two are arguably the biggest weapon Spain have! Before the likes of Hermoso, Alexia and Salma

Deltamani: I'll rather we play Columbia, Sweden or Italy and any Asian country really. Columbia because they seem to be the most improved Southern American country at the moment. Gave the USA a run for their money. Sweden/Italy because all their games with Spain was very close. Sweden because they've played Spain 3 times just last year and all the games were close. We necessarily don't need a team that plays like Spain. No team plays like them quite frankly. For Japan, they are the best team in Asia and others aren't even close. Anyone will do. 1 Like |

🚨Rachel Daly has called quit from international football with England. The 32-year-old Aston Villa striker announced her retirement today hours after featuring for the Lionesses in their Euro 2025 qualifying victory over Ireland. She made her debut in 2016 and went on to gained 84 caps, scoring 16 goals. She was part of the English team that made history by winning the 2022 Euros and played an integral role in helping them reach the 2023 World Cup final. 1 Like

Randy Waldrum has a good problem, that is, picking 18 players to make the roster for the Olympics game and 4 Alternates. If you were Randy, who will make your list? The list obviously could change as events unfold, but who will make your list right now? Mine is below: Goalkeepers: 1. Chiamaka Nnadozie 2. Tochukwu oluehi Defenders: 3. Osinachi Ohale 4.Ashleigh Plumptre 5. Blessing Demehin 6 Michelle Alozie 7. Nicole Payne 8. Chidinma Okeke Midfielders: 9. Deborah Abiodun 10. Halimatu Ayinde 11. Christy Ucheibe 12. Jennifer Echegini 13. Rasheedat Ajibade 14. Toni Payne Forwards: 15. Omorinsola Babajide 16. Esther Okoronkwo 17. Asisat Oshoala 18. Uchenna Kanu Alternates 19. Linda Jiwuaku 20. Chinwendu Ihezuo 21. Gift Monday 22. Ifeoma Onumonu 6 Likes |

lovewins: -Nicole Payne is not guaranteed. Dare say won't be there. -Randy will look to the future and take Linda Jiwuaku ahead of Tochukwu oluehi if its 18 players -Chinwendu Ihezuo definitely ahead of Omorinsola Babajide from the look of things. Except Christy Ucheibe is take as defender in place of Nicole Payne, and then Omorinsola Babajide as an extra striker. 2 Likes |

ekehopp2: Lol 😂 ••• Yes Nicole Payne not guaranteed but stands a chance to claim a spot.. ••• Randy Picking another goalkeeper ahead of Oluehi as Back Up for Nnadozie will be a big shocker which I see not happening very soon.. This might be Tochi Major Goodbye tournament for the SuperFalcons.. ••• Babajide gets a spot, She’s a winger not a number 9, we need options on the flanks! ••• Ihezuo still have a chance but will have a tough time making the final roster except she do more magic and Randy Sacrifices Iffy Onumonu for her, Her Pressing game look good though!! ••• Oshoala, Okoronkwo, Onumonu and Ihezuo are battling each other for spot..! Oshoala and Esther Okoronkwo very certain na the rest go fight for the other spot.. ••~ By the way Onumonu came to camp with a knock on her ankle which made her not to participate in both legs, If she can spring a major surprise in the NWSL and Prior to the Olympics she stands a Chance! Ihezuo chance is more Slim 1 Like |

lovewins: My view from another angle again, Since they will be Camping in Europe, they can as well play games against teams like Denmark, Norway, China PR, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Colombia, Czech Republic who aren’t Bad either and can as well help our Rankings.. 1 Like |

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by lovewins: 1:37pm On Apr 10 |
ekehopp2: I probably should have explained a few of my inclusion for context. I'll do that while addressing your objections. When you have a limited roster, priority for you is to pick players for can play multiple roles. 1. No way Jiwuaku is picked ahead of Oluehi. How do you have as backup someone who is yet to play professionally? All she has is potential and ideally she shouldn't even be on the Falcons team yet. Ot should also serve as some form of farewell for Oluehi. 2. Nicole is probably the last name I put on this list. She was going to be an alternate but I realized it will mean having a 5 woman defence which doesn't make sense. At the moment there's no other player in defence that takes that 6th spot ahead of her. 3. Players like Uchiebe and Alozie can play multiple roles as Defender/Midfielder and Wing Back/Striker respectively. Rash and Toni Payne can also play in Midfield/Forward roles. 4. In a limited roster you need just 2 CFs. Rinsola and Kanu are wingers though they can play as CF should the need arise. Sadly I can't see how Ihezuo gets picked ahead of Oshoala and Esther. She's most similar to Asisat but Asisat won't be dropped so she comes in as alternate. |

These guys are clowns mostly. I guess he got fed up cos they were many that stray bullet met the innocent ones too via block button. They need to chill too. It was also most of them that were shouting and analyzing about Local coaches for Super Eagles. Some are obstinate and waiting for the "i told you so" moment. They can't even see the records 2 Likes 1 Share |

I just think as a coach know your onions. Even if journalists hate your guts they will be forced to sing your praises. Remembering how at the AFCON a few journalists with agenda against JP were forced to bury it when the team was doing well once we lost the final sharp sharp agenda resurrect That said Randy too dey cho cho cho sometimes sha. daveP: 2 Likes |

daveP:Clowns? Randy is the clown here please. Udoh is right. Randy is one of the most protected SF coach. Let's be factual here please, is there anything tangible that Randy has added to this team? Remove the individual brilliance of Nnadozie and the little luck here and there and imagine where we would be by now. Let's free these journalists please. Nothing exceptional about RW abeg. Moreso, as a player or coach, it is expected to receive criticism. You need to develop tough skin. Why the blocking spree? |

The most impactful change that Randy Waldrum made that turned around the fortunes of the Super Falcons was dropping Rita Chikwelu from the team. That lady was an eyesore and impacted our game so negatively and cost the team a lot. The Saudi League must be a very low quality league cos I can't fathom how that lady was signed by a club and is still making appearances. Make Ashleigh Plumptre do commot for that league. 5 Likes 1 Share |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by semid4lyfe(m): 4:24pm On Apr 10 |
mostob: Colin Udoh criticized Randy Waldrum during the WAFCON........rightfully so if I may add, and was pushing for his sack after the tournament while lowkey lobbying for his wife Mercy Akide to be appointed as coach. Still, Randy Waldrum is immature and unprofessional for blocking the sports journalists. |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 4:26pm On Apr 10 |
mostob: They're clowns. Yeah. I'll say that. I've been observing the way most of them in the sport terrain moved since covid. Especially the crew that joined voice for local coaches and NPFL things. I didn't say Randy is all excellent. I joined to criticize that year too especially his substitutions They are pissed at his reaction. Na Randy fall hand sha. Lol. Man overreacted and block the innocent ones join. That's too far. But we can't police how he'd react too. Jpes try o. Man barely addressed those talks. |
