Can't you all see the tarred road is intact? It's trash and wastes that is littered on the road. An erosion by the road.
The landscape of the road is higher than where buildings are so it's bound to happen.

Took time to watch the video,
1. The road seems to be in good condition
2. The drainage are fine too and to some extent effective
3. Canals should have been built either side of the road to channel water
4. The road seems broken but not broken. Seems broken cause of the amount of dirt and debris that have been washed on it due to the amount of rain. The guy in the video shoulda seen that but kept mute
5. Some houses were built along water channel
6. A possible structural deficiency from the engineers, multiple culverts shoulda been built under the road to allow water flow from one part to the other.

Overall the guy in the video seems to be a propaganda enthusiast. The road wasn't damaged and the flooding wasn't as a result of the road.

Don’t blame the contractors, but our leaders, who will pocket project money and then award a road construction project to a friend or family member who knows nothing about road construction.

That's a road under construction. Did you see the completed portion of the road at the end of the video? It's still solid. The houses on the side of the road got flooded because the road is on a higher level than the houses. A channel should be built to move floodwaters to the gutter, I'm sure this will be added as the road is under construction.
