What about the American international school that makes dollars as a means of payment for schools fees.. in which Yaya bello paid in dollars to pay school fees for his children... you did not complain and arrest the owner of the school for making dollars as a means of payment for school fees

You're stopping foreign missions from transacting in dollar and ordered your own foreign mission abroad to transact in naira violating the host country's policy? Our leaders have sense but they don't have wisdom.

The best is other countries should institutionalise transactions in their local currencies within their own countries. People like you only see negatives, never ever positives.

Does EFCC understand that embassies aren't Nigerian territory?

I don't think so, Sir.

Anyway, I am not an economist nor a financial speculator, so these are honest views of an average Nigerian business man who has observed things for a long time in Nigerian economic space .

I strongly believe these points if implemented will go a long way in solving naira freefall wahala.

I get your point.

But let's view it from this angle.
If foreigners (foreign companies) buy much from us (and pay in dollar), there would be more foreign 'currencies' to be used to cushion the effect of the dollar being paid by banks for your naira transactions abroad (with naira card), without much depletion of the foreign reserves.
Thus, Nigerian government should encourage and implement easier ways for exportation. That way, someone abroad can easily buy things from Nigeria, even online, and it will be delivered to them. The 'foreigner' pays in foreign currency, while the Nigerian gets paid in Naira

They cannot lack what they don't have. They never had any idea of what to do. Tinubu said that he will continue from where Buhari stopped.

Bros it is not by giving them ideas. They cannot implement it. Check out the issue of fuel subsidy removal. Did they not say that PO wanted to remove it too? But what happened? They didn't copy well.
Let me be frank with you ...This guys don't have any ideas... Honestly most of their Policies are just suggestions by the world bank and imf....They control the monetary policy....Tinubu being pro west just implements them without understanding how it would affect the peculiarity of the Nigerian State

What if the host country doesn’t have a policy violating transaction in ₦. Rules aren’t broken except they are first made.

Financial policies of nations defers. What about the host countries the EFCC is asking that embassies transactions should be in naira when your government have followed the IMF satanic policies? The government is the one embezzling forex with the loans they collect and pay in dollars.

Are you from the host countries? Let the host countries speak for themselves na. If you are from Togo, speak for Togo. Na wa o. Some people are always just interested in dragging Nigeria backwards.

You think those countries are stupid.

You ask their embassy here to accept Naira and also want Nigeria mission in those countries not to accept in their currency.

The EFCC has also mandated Nigerian foreign missions domiciled abroad to accept Naira in their financial businesses.

All of this approach is chasing shadows.

Do the needful.

But more importantly, they should raid the accounts of politicians and elites who hoard dollars and liquidate such accounts in naira terms.
It is this set of people that are most responsible for our naira losing value

Where would the Nigerians in the US get Naira to transact with the Nigerian Embassy in US.
You people overestimate the importance of Nigeria.

Your Naira is a shit currency, even your leaders don't want to hold Naira.

Tinubu and his family own properties and assets in UK, France, US.
The Deputy Governor of Lagos has a US passport.

All these drama from EFCC and CBN is simply looking for someone else to blame when the problem is in front of them

Nigerian hate and shy away from the truth.

EFCC or Finance ministry / CBN ? undecided

So EFCC is now making operational policy for embassies but why only embassies sef as if embassies are the biggest source of dollar outflow.

This is the job of the Finance Ministry or CBN

Unserious administration.

Obviously you don't have sense. Youre obviously one of the reasons we are here today. Common sense no allow you to vote a candidate that will move your country forward. So they should be mandated to transact in naira in Nigeria and also be forced to transact in naira in their sovereign country. Say you be God. U for just kukuma ask them to pack their things and go. My dear we can't force naira to grow or grow naira through back door. Its simple turn your country production economy. Ask your useless leaders to provide steady power supply and leave coastal lane. Steady power supply is the first step to switch to from consuming economy to production economy.

they should accept Naira anywhere in the world and deposit same into a Nigerian account

I don't get this, from my understanding, foreign missions in Nigeria will charge in naira, likewise Nigeria missions in other countries will charge for their services in the local currency of they country they are domiciled. Or are you saying it is the opposite?

You lack basic comprehensive capacity.

EFCC mandated Nigerian foreign mission to ACCEPT.

To accept does not mean they wouldn't accept the host country currency, rather they would have to start accepting Naira and host country currency.

Your rush to criticize great development shows your lack of reasoning objectively.
