Power is nothing if you don't have the means to enforce it. Soldiers don't answer to the governor only the president. So the governor is powerless here. But as far as the law in Kano is concerned, Sanusi is the new emir.

Care has to be taken to avoid the breakdown of law and order in Kano state.

Fulanis are less than 5% of Nasarawa, they used the military regimes to create an emirate in Nasarawa thereby creating a foothold in the state..
Same thing they wish to accomplish on Plateu and Benue. .

The Nassarawa this deposed emir went to is a Local Government Area of Kano (Kano has 44 LGAs and Nassarawa is among them). The Nasarawa emir Sunusi went to is a state of it's own.

The saying that North has so much honour for traditional institution is in the past. Things have changed over the years because of politics.

The Bayero guy made a mistake. He shouldn't have accepted the offer to be emir.

Some people are saying SLS never deserved to be emir in the first place but he was the most qualified because Bayero would never have smelt the position if his father didn't die

If such a thing happens in the Igbo land, the narrative will be that Igbo people hate one another. Bigots will say that the Igbo should not lead Nigeria since the Igbo peopl cannot lead themselves.
