You all are complaining about noise from Churches and I also do not like but can you compare the noise from the Churches to that of the mosques?

Yet you can't complain because my muslim brothers will behead you even before you end the complain.

Go to northern Nigeria and see if you won't run crazy..... The imams mount very tall pole with a loudspeaker on it to chant or recite koran all through from 9pm till 5am; this is apart from the noise of the daily 5x prayers. Such madness and wickedness yet no one can complain.

But because Christians are meek, you all are here speaking against the Church as if they are the only ones constituting public disturbance.

Tell us about these more effective, peaceful and excellent ways. Also show me why the 'Christians' aren't obligated to just keep quiet and stop disturbing the peace? Did Jesus go round with a megaphone bothering people sleeping?

In Ethiopia we have the same problem with noise coming from blasted speakers of religious establishments. Of all the establishments under consideration the Muslim ones seem to be tolerable as residents hear their noise only once a day and for a very short time. The others can start from mid night and end at mid day and then start at 4PM and end at 1PM. This goes all week, month, year long. The establishments are right in the meddle of residential areas. If you are unlucky your house can be right next-door to one of them. And if you live in small cities, you will be in the blast radius of these speakers no matter where you are with in the boundaries of the cities, so no escape. Unlike small cities big cities such as Addis Ababa (Probably just Addis Ababa), you can escape the noises by moving to a different location that is oust side the blast radius. I personally dislike the noise that comes from the speakers of Warehouses Churches. The noises are very out of rhythm and the random bombarding sounds can give a person a heart attack.

However, if these practices (Loud noises all day. all week) do serve in positive social and political circumstances that I am not aware of, may be its worth enduring them. Most people seem to just talk about their irritation in small group discussion and not in public anyhow.
