I've been having cough for some days now. So yesterday, I went to get some drugs for it and also a cough syrup. I took the cough syrup and it's making me so hig..... So, this is what some people do take in high doses? All for what?

Yesterday's own was worse. I couldn't do anything or go anywhere because of it. I didn't get myself. Took it this morning and now I'm beginning to feel somehow uneasy.

I can't wait to get better and stop taking the syrup.

What do you think I can do to reduce this?

The cough syrup nor get name?

It's very likely that the cough syrup contain either diphenydramine or chlorpheramine, both of which can sedate u.

Diphenydramine and chlorpheramine I listed are anti histamine. They help take care of itching of the throat and nose that often goes with some coughs.

Their side effect is sedation. Hence,if your cough is the type that disturb u at night, the sedation will make u sleep fine.

Not all cough syrups have sedating agents. Try and explain to the pharmacist on duty your nature of cough and hopefully you'd get one that will suit u.
