This Ur information is not up to date oo... The cheapest beats I sell goes for 30k (to encourage upcoming) and also because I haven't set up a real studio yet as it has been relegated to one of my side gigs, no recording sessions just beats, it's a home thing. I sell some for 50-100k depends on the work done. Na U go figure out the rest urself. Back in 2010-2012 working as a sound engineer with a standard recording studio the price was 20k for a session and back then and the studio was located in Benin so I guess back then in lagos it would be higher. So location still matters sha.

So U can't say it's still that price cos I haven't been in any studio in over a decade. I no believe any studio will take anything less than 50k for low grade studio, except U come with Ur own beat and they just need to voice it and tweak it a bit plus mastering only not creating a beat, mixing and mastering it and also recording the artist and all the vocals then the final mixing and mastering before U export. Except location like I said earlier then studio will take 20k to record a song this 2025 but definitely not this Lagos where we dey so.

The producer when teach me work dey in charge me dey follow am as apprentice and I still dey into the recording with two other guys. This artist is always fvckn high as in highly high.

One day na so him come carry drinks come we shayo, smoke our head off, I dey look am thinking say him go chill till night make we run am cos we dey sleep there sometimes if work too much. But Baba dey insist say we must record him song. Producer done finish beat down na for me to record am.

So producer give me go ahead. Bro enter booth on mic I sha check everything begin run am. Guess wetin I dey hear on top beats... Shhhhhhhhhhhh, shhhhhhhhhhh... Em go mumble small then continue shhhhhhhhh... I look producer, producer look me tell me to continue lol na so we record him song for am. We laugh that day no be small . It all depends on hearing though and how you want your music to sound..
And yes,i do make afrobeats but i want my sounds to be liked globally and not locally which is why i focus on hip hop/pop..

Nice. I use just FL studios for now and I have always been geared towards hip hop/pop/Trap but I recently started venturing into Afro beats since I got back into the game and its more challenging to me though but very interesting too
