Even you yourself must have hurt someone before for doing you something bad. Did God do it or you? When Satan does calamity, did God do it or Satan? God created calamity as an instrument of judgement for the wicked. Satan has powers. Humans have powers. By God's principle of freewill, they both could use their powers as they wish but God will judge them for the misuse of their powers.

God wanted to promote job and, therefore He put him to the test. Satan can only go as far as Job's and his children's vulnerability. If Satan visits you, he cannot get you if you are not vulnerable. Your vulnerability is not God's fault but yours.

If I want to boast of your strength and power to my enemy, I can tell my enemy to try you and see something. That's exactly what happened in Jobs case.

Anyone old enough to own a house and host parties is not a kid. Job's children were young men. Not necessarily kids. When I was in my 30s, I still hand elderly people who called me young man. God did not give Satan powers to touch Jobs children. Satan was just doing his thing and caught them in a vulnerable situation. Sarah's things are all wickedness and evil. If you're not vulnerable, Satan cannot touch you. May your understanding be opened. A president does not give armed robbers powers to rob a compound, but when they're doing their thing, if the compound is not vulnerable, robbers cannot succeed. Righteousness is a defence.
