Reacting to a Wall Street Journal article titled “American women have never been this resigned to staying single,” Govind claimed many single women in their 30s are looking for the perfect man that doesn’t exist.

She blamed media and dating apps for feeding unrealistic expectations, adding that the abundance of matches makes it seem like there are endless good options—when in reality, commitment and flings run on two very different rules.

Her advice?

Stop focusing on height, abs, or vibes. Look for a man with core values, financial compatibility, and long-term potential.
“Think like a VC betting on future potential—not a bank checking present profit & loss.”
