I still wonder why we have the custom of cut and paste. Although they label it as romance, I don't understand why a man kneels down to propose to a woman. I once heard a woman say it is a sign of a weak man. None of my cousins or brothers asked any woman to marry us, and the last of us to get married did so nearly 15 years ago. For the purpose of a skit or a movie, such displays of emotion are fine. Why should I take on additional responsibilities in my life, and I would still be the one to kneel down?
