Alright Budaatum. So this is an interview. budaatum:+ Right. So here goes. buda is both male and female. Their pronouns are they and them.+ So you identify as non-binary? Are you willing to say if you were born biologically male or female? No I don't belong to any sect/religious or mystical movement whatsoever, and never have, but some will tell you otherwise based on their perception of the evidence.+ Have you belonged to any in the past? Trust you to see deep. Yes, it does refer to Atum, the first Egyptian deity. It is inspired by the depth of my knowledge and understanding of deities. And Buddhism, a 'philosophy' I explored for a long while.+ I said "awakened" as a reference to Buddhism. A Buddha is an awakened one. No, I would not say I don't believe, because the word 'believe' implies one does not know. And yes, I am an atheist. An atheist who knows that all gods are human creations.+ Why do you use the small "g" and do you believe that there is a source or root or causative factor for all other existent elements or things. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 8:46pm On Mar 30 |
DeepSight:I'm honored. DeepSight:Actually, I don't particularly identify as any gender or non-binary. I'm just budaatum. **** DeepSight:No, I haven't. I've read many books on the subject however because dad was a Rosicrucian and ma hates the fact her money was spent on it. DeepSight:And I'd like to believe I am awake. DeepSight:I use small g to denote gods in general. Yes, I believe there must have been a "causative factor for all other existent elements or things", as it is my opinion that something must have existed for there to cause a big bang (if there ever was one). It could have been an increase in pressure for instance, but we wouldn't necessarily say pressure created a big bang since something caused the increase in pressure in the first place, and I wouldn't call it a god. For the curious, this began here. https://www.nairaland.com/4508641/american-politics-thread-trump-47th/5851#138941496 |

Budaatum is deepsight and deepsight is budaatum🤔 I’m convinced….. |

SpencerForbes:+ Lol. On your own. Far from it. |

Seun, I can not believe you edited my post before unspambotting it! You wouldn't like this done to your posts on x so I don't understand why you'd think it appropriate here! Deep, my complete response can be viewed here. https://x.com/BudaAtum/status/2038707842106949826?s=20 |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 9:46pm On Mar 30 |
DeepSight:I can not imagine why anyone would think one would create a thread with one monicker to question oneself with their other moniker. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by Nobody: 9:58pm On Mar 30 |
DeepSight:Out of over 2 million users on this Nairaland, it’s only Budaatum that is your problem for years now? At this point, it’s either you’re secretly "marketing" the man to Nigerians or you have a special occultic agenda you’re trying to recruit for. The obsession is becoming a bit much. It’s giving "new religion" vibes. I’ve lost count of how many times you’ve created this exact same thread. You’ll disappear for months only to resurface out of the blue with another "Budaatum" topic. I’m 100% sure that six months from now, you’ll still be here singing this same stale song. It’s either you both are chasing clout together, or there’s a "product" you’re trying to sell us. Some of us are watching your moves in 4K. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 10:09pm On Mar 30 |
SpencerForbes:Sorry SpencerForbes, but I must confess that this is the first thread I've come across created by Deepsight with budaatum in the topic. I went through the 223 topics created by Deepsight and could not find a single one referencing budaatum'. I'd appreciate if you direct me to the ones you've "lost count of how many times you’ve created this exact same thread", please. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by DeepSight(op): 10:17pm On Mar 30 |
budaatum:+ First time I am creating a thread with you in focus. Over the years, I have conducted similar interviews with many different Nairalanders as focus. Ignore him. He is lying. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 10:29pm On Mar 30 |
DeepSight:Deep, you really don't need to tell me what SpencerForbes is doing since I can very easily find out for myself. It just amuses me that people would make such false claims and then expect to be seriously considered. It's like people claiming they 'believe' in the existence of a god they have no evidence for, when its obvious they merely believe because they do not know if their god exists or not. |

| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by Nobody: 10:44pm On Mar 30 |
Who are you trying to move? 😂 It’s too obvious when one person is juggling multiple monikers like oranges. Same dead writing pattern, same questions, same everything. At least try to change your 'format' small! 👏 Very commendable, convincing and coincidental 👏👏👏 My real concern now is: What exactly is Budaatum trying to achieve with all this loud publicity? Is it just clout-chasing or is there an underlying agenda? 🤔
|
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by Nobody: 10:45pm On Mar 30 |
Another moniker has arrived. Very quick to produce links😂😂😂 another classic move. I’ll leave the thread now, it’s not worth my time but I’m watching 😏 |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 10:48pm On Mar 30 |
Do you not think your argument would carry weight if buda creates these threads? Or do you want to suggest that budaatum is triplechoice too, or paid triplechoice to create a thread to publicise budaatum? SpencerForbes: |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by Nobody: 10:51pm On Mar 30 |
budaatum:I’m just here monitoring the movement, and I can bet my last kobo that the three of you can’t post at the exact same minute. At most, you’ll try to juggle two handles before the 'format' breaks. 😂 Now, let’s go to the main matter: Is this a forced marketing for your Rosáy tradition or are you trying to sell a new religion to Nigerians by fire by force? 🤨 I’m already waiting for you to login to the Trip moniker to come and defend this low-budget acting. Oya, over to you! |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 10:57pm On Mar 30 |
ono:I wouldn't mind you joining. Just bring a brain please, and use it. ono:Life is not tough for me at all, ono. Nor did Jesus ask me to submit to him. He actually asked that I seek the understanding he had so that I too may become a God like him, but it seems you would rather be submissive, which is your choice and not mine. Here's a thread that might interest you more.

| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 10:59pm On Mar 30 |
SpencerForbes:I have the feeling you can answer your question yourself by simply posting where buda has attempted to sell anything to you. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by ono(m): 11:02pm On Mar 30 |
budaatum:Of course I get this. Let me share with you another one. 1 Corinthians 6:3 (KJV) Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? Do you know what it takes to judge angels? You have to have Godlike characters to get to that level. This is why I am inviting you to a higher pedestal of that knowledge that you seek, available by simply submitting to Him who is the source of all knowledge. It is that easy. Rosicrucian, Eckankar and the likes only serves to confuse you the more and subject you to eternal damnation and hell. They profit nothing. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by ono(m): 11:05pm On Mar 30 |
wow. Somebody or something brought me here. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by Nobody: 11:06pm On Mar 30 |
budaatum:Anytime this your Rosicrucian/Rossí religion starts losing steam, you quickly cook up one controversial 'Life of Budaatum' episode to revive it. 😂 Some of us have been on this forum long enough to smell the format from five miles away. It’s obvious you enjoyed the last publicity so much that you can’t let go. After a few months of silence, you’ve brought it back because you're addicted to the attention. 🚶♂️ Look, if you want to evangelize for your religion, just do it directly. We know controversy sells faster than 'pure water,' but this your 'Life of Budaatum' script is already getting stale and predictable. Give us something else abeg! |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 11:14pm On Mar 30 |
ono:The "Godlike characters" you think one must have is actually a god like understanding. And that you get by learning as much as you can. It's in fact taught in the first chapter of your god book, when it is written that you were created in God's image, and should "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth" and be blessed, which you can only do if you were given and have received "every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat". But I bet you are more like Adam, created from mud, "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die". And that's why you are naked and iggy like Adam, and are refusing to be saved from slavery by sense using Eve. Ref: https://www.nairaland.com/6795272/reeves-pass |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 11:17pm On Mar 30 |
SpencerForbes:Are you disregarding the fact that you are the one who resurrected "your Rosicrucian/Rossí religion" here Spencer? I have the feeling Deepsight was not even aware of that thread until you resurrected it here, but I'll let him tell you himself. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by ono(m): 11:23pm On Mar 30 |
budaatum:You are either deliberately twisting God's Word or you are ignorant of the fact that this exact same tactics you've deployed here now (bits and pieces of God's words and commands strewn to confuse the gullible) is what Satan used in the Garden of Eden to deceive Eve. Yield to the Lord's calling budaatum dear. He will lead you aright and set you free. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 11:29pm On Mar 30 |
ono:Was Eve deceived? Yes, likely by Adam, since no God told Eve she'd die if she ate a fruit that we read Adam was told not to eat. But I guess your satan would wait for a Garden, and wouldn't start deceiving you by meddling with the book you read and your ability to comprehend what you read, or you'd be asking yourself why God would create humans in his image, and then create slavish îgnorant Adam from mud. I have a question for you. On what day was Adam created? |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by DeepSight(op): 11:40pm On Mar 30 |
budaatum:+ Ignore him. If he was serious the slightest review of any of the profiles or posts of the discussants here would sort him out. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 11:54pm On Mar 30 |
DeepSight:I am going to take this your advice. He's just being a nuisance. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by DeepSight(op): 12:08am On Mar 31 |
budaatum:+ Is there any particular reason then that you are keeping it some sort of secret. Because I have come across this question from time to time where people insist you are a woman whereas I always imagined you male. Not that it's an issue, but it's good to be clear. No, I haven't. I've read many books on the subject however because dad was a Rosicrucian and ma hates the fact her money was spent on it.+ Now a while ago triplechoice had made a thread making issues about this. Not sure how that ended. But pray tell, since you appear well schooled in the doctrines of AMORC, what is your impression of their teachings. I ask because I was once very close to signing up with them in my youth. And I'd like to believe I am awake.+ What does wakefulness in this regard mean to you and do you think there is spirituality to life. Do you believe in life after death and a soul as distinct from the body. I use small g to denote gods in general.+ What stops you from seeing that ultimate cause as God. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by budaatum: 1:50am On Mar 31 |
DeepSight:My gender is really irrelevant to whatever I have to say, and I don't want it to be focussed on and what I have to say be missed. I like your imagination, note. DeepSight:My father spent a lot of money on Rosicrucian, and my mother is displeased because of it. I don't feel he derived much from it neither, as he got lost in the mystical aspect and missed the understanding. I love their books though, as they are food for the mind, as in they make one wonder. But then you must have gathered that atheist me loves my Bible too, and my Quran and Aesop and books in general. Sadly, I can't read as much as I used to for some reason. DeepSight:Wakefulness to me means having an understanding of how the world works. I'm not claiming I know it all, but I'd like to hope I'm not sleeping through life. You can read what I say literally, or you might understand the spirit of what I write. That's not to say I'm placing the two as opposites, but just a crude juxtaposition. It's more to do with understanding and how one perceives life. I could argue that I aim to have a "personal sense of connecting with something larger than oneself (that could be you, note), focusing on meaning, purpose, and inner awareness rather than strictly organized religion", since it "involves exploring deep questions about life, self-awareness, and a, "relational consciousness" with oneself, others, and the universe, often fostering peace, compassion, and well-being", which are all things that interest and concern me. My understanding of religious texts has been described as spiritual by some and devil worship by many. It is an integral core of Buddhism and most religions, and is even in philosophies, if one perceives that way. DeepSight:First, "believe" means (to me), I don't know and have chosen to accept as true things I have no evidence for and likely have evidence against (since I will seek). Fortunately, I have seen many die, by virtue of my connection to hospitals and the fact I know lots of old people. Everyone I know who has died has been put in a box and buried in the ground or been cremated, and none of them have lived after dying, so I see no reason to create crap in my own head and then believe in the crap I create in my head. No, I do not believe people or their souls live after they have died. That said, I do often have long live seeming discussions with a friend of mine who is long dead. They often start as dreams, and have sometimes continued after I have fully woken up. We lived together for years and are immensely missed by me. Our discussions seem like they live, though I know they do not. DeepSight:By God, I presume you mean Yahweh (Allah). The evidence stops me. Evidence like, why didn't you ask me what stops me seeing that the ultimate cause is Obatala, or Brahma (Hinduism), or Ra and Atum (Egypt), or Izanagi and Izanami (Japan), or Gaia (Greece), or Pangu (China) etc etc etc? They after all all are written to have been the ultimate cause by those in those places, and each of them was an ultimate cause in their own different ways, which is not possible if we are talking of the ultimate cause of this same one universe. Education and knowledge, is the answer. I know better.

| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by ono(m): 8:21am On Mar 31 |
I will be very very careful with what a google AI search throws up as "answers" on spirituality. budaatum should be smart enough to appreciate this. It is especially very dangerous for one who is pretty much subject to carnal desires and human flailing to dabble in spiritual things, exposing such an one to the manipulative schemes of demonic forces and Satan himself. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by DeepSight(op): 9:00am On Mar 31 |
budaatum:+ It's very rare for a Nairalanders gender to become an issue on this board. The only other person I can remember in similar terms was a poster called pilgrim1 who many alleged was viaro. Okay there was also one mavenbox/inesqor. Many years ago. Personally I think you are the one making it an issue especially with statements such as saying you go by "they/them." We are not unenlightened, everyone knows what that suggests. My father spent a lot of money on Rosicrucian, and my mother is displeased because of it. I don't feel he derived much from it neither, as he got lost in the mystical aspect and missed the understanding.+ I was rather hoping you would comment on the truth of their teachings. I found a lot of truth in the teachings of the Rosicrucian Order and even in those of Eckankar. My understanding of religious texts has been described as spiritual by some and devil worship by many. It is an integral core of Buddhism and most religions, and is even in philosophies, if one perceives that way.+ What do you mean by the bold. Are you saying that core Buddhism is closest to your belief system, coupled with the essentials of most religions splashed with philosophy? First, "believe" means (to me), I don't know and have chosen to accept as true things I have no evidence for and likely have evidence against (since I will seek).+ So you really think the physical body is all there is to us? That would be odd for one given to so much mysticism. By God, I presume you mean Yahweh (Allah).+ How could you have interacted with me so long on this board and make this disastrous presumption? Of course not, and I do not think of those entities as God. Though I do not begrudge those who have the creator in mind when they speak those names. I am asking you about a necessary uncaused cause of all other existence. |
| Re: The Demystification Of Budaatum - An Interview. by triplechoice(m): 9:34am On Mar 31 |
SpencerForbes:Oh! .A Sherlock Holmes has come to Nairaland! So you think I am Budaatum, and also Deepsight? That is genuinely amusing. You need to be corrected before your imagination runs completely wild.. A person's writing style is like their voice, unique and impossible to replicate exactly across different moniker.. The science backs this. Go through my post history and then compare it to Budaatum's and Deepsight's.. The differences are stark and obvious Some persons on this forum know me personally. They know where I live and work in Nigeria. They've also met me offline. Budaatum is an elderly person known to live in the UK. Deepsight has been around for years but I don't know his location Your accusation that we are the same person suggests that you are familiar with running multiple handles. That is your own habit, not mine. Do not project your tactics onto me. Next time do your homework before making wild allegations. |
