It's quite worrisome.

The problem I have with how Nigerians are obsessed with marriage and childbearing is, they don't even do it well.

Someone probably has 75yrs to live and at 30 you feel the world has ended. That is how you ladies pressure yourself into bad marriages. Then start looking for a way out in 8wks.

From pre independence, post independence era till around late 90s, our moms married at 16, 17, 19 etc...

I wonder what is making jet-age(nawadays) queens to be waiting till 40yrs old!

What you are saying is good but.....at least women should endeavour to have children in
order to avoid population decline. This has become a problem in the western world as
they dont give birth to children and their nation or race is aging and practically dying out.

It's less than 3%. Even in big cities with more money like Lagos, PH, ABJ. Let big boys and sugar daddies stop funding girls and see what will happen. Most women are poor. Very poor. But they want bling bling. Most are taken out of poverty by men who control the vast amount of wealth/resources. For most, relationships and marriages are Poverty Alleviation Programmes (PAP).
