You are right! When you beg a man for love. He will not value you for once. But when you have the stuff (brilliance, good job, proper home training, well-reserved, polite, caring, the way you handle and present matters, you knowledge and perception about life, belief me, a man will come for you. A man with the same stuff you have will be the one to come for you because a good iron sharpens a good iron. That's why it's good to look, leap, make researches about a man, his personal background, family background, see how his immediate family is progressing before you say I do, if you do, ahhhh! And you say love is blind. I can't and won't allow any lady in my family to beg a man. Being a lawyer doesn't automatically make a woman the Supreme Court of your household. She is still subject to the same laws as everyone else. You only become easy to bully when you don't know your rights or have no backbone.

And this idea that marrying a lawyer means she will automatically divorce you, take your property and collect your children is just lazy thinking. Any woman, regardless of her profession, can hire a lawyer if she decides to “cook” you. A wicked woman doesn't need a law degree to make your life miserable.

Some footballers who ended up losing substantial wealth after divorce were not married to lawyers. Their wives simply understood the law, used the legal system to their advantage, and in some cases, took advantage of men who had failed to protect their interests.

So if your fear of marrying a lawyer is based on the assumption that she will automatically destroy you in a divorce, perhaps the problem isn't her law degree. Perhaps you should spend more time learning your rights than being frightened by her profession.
