If you are dating someone in Abuja or Lagos, please make sure you know the person you are planning to marry beyond what you see on WhatsApp and social media. Some people have been in relationships for years without knowing their partner's family, childhood friends or real background. You may know where she works, where she lives and her favourite restaurant, but have you ever met anyone who genuinely knew her before you came into the picture? Imagine marrying a woman only to discover that the people she introduced as her family members were not actually related to her. Stranger things have happened, and I have heard accounts that make you wonder how well people really know the person they are dating. Of course, living far from family does not automatically make someone suspicious. Some people are estranged from their relatives, have difficult family histories or simply live independent lives. The concern is deliberate deception, not distance from family. There is another issue men should not ignore. If you are considering marriage, you need an honest conversation about your partner's current lifestyle, relationship status, sexual health and expectations for fidelity. Do not assume that someone has abandoned a previous lifestyle simply because they now talk about marriage. Imagine marrying someone who secretly continues a business or relationship that directly violates the agreement you both made about fidelity. Your home could become a place of deception rather than the peaceful family life you hoped to build. Bro, love someone, but use your head too. Meet the people who genuinely know your partner. Ask reasonable questions about their background. Observe whether their stories remain consistent. Discuss finances, children, faith, fidelity and the kind of marriage you both want. Give the relationship enough time for trust to develop, and pay attention when credible inconsistencies arise. Do not marry a social media profile. Marry a person you have taken the time to know. One more thing: rushing into marriage because you fear getting older can be just as dangerous as delaying it indefinitely. The goal is not to marry before everyone else. The goal is to choose wisely. As for the person who inspired this post, Raf Keyz, this one might be your department. Come and defend yourself! Gentlemen, have you ever discovered something shocking about a partner's background after becoming serious about marriage? What checks do you think are reasonable before committing to someone? |

Out of 100 million people in Lagos, 55 million na ghosts. The bigger the city, the more random and unknown people congregate. I've sighted a deceased person selling okrika in Mushin. This person was deceased years ago. Even I saw my landlord's former okada rider in Moshalashi some years back. This person died in a road accident years ago. |

For those of you doubting ghosts, Go to any big local market, bend down & look through your legs. Then come back & testify. That's if you survive to testify. |

I had an experience with one as a sex worker Some years ago I went to a motel, a very local bar with cheap rooms for the locals to come and have sexual fun. This place is mostly used by married men who cheat but don't have enough cash for better hotels or charlets. So I came there and I sat in the bar . Usually some very young and older women do come to this place, they will be hanging around in the corners waiting for any man who wants them to take them into the rooms for paid sex. So after I sighted the one I liked, we bargained and we proceeded to enter a room. Before entering I met with the guy in charge and I paid for the room, that was also when I asked him to help me get two condoms. As I was in the room with the girl the, I heard a knock on the door and I went to open. While the girl sat ok the bed. None of us had undressed yet. It was the condom that was brought for me. So as I took the condom, locked the door, turned back to the room lo and behold the girl was no way to be found. I looked both the toilet and behind every doors in that room no sign of her. That was then my heart started beating very fast. I quietly grabbed my car keys and as I turned to run out , there she was again standing behind me. I wanted to start begging her not to hurt me but immediately her clothes dropped and I still can say that was the sexiest coolers and most attractive naked women I have seen. After hipnoticing me to make love to her she asked me to wait so she can leave the room first. This is the second time I am telling anyone this story. Wherever you are oh spirit please forgive me and bless me like never before |

So na only Abuja and lagos spirits and ghosts dey go? Abi dem too dey look for greener pasture? On a lighter note, it's not a big deal. After all, such a person with unknown background can become the president of a country full of professors and intelligent people. Marrying a person with unknown background or educational history can be a smart move. If you think I'm lying, ask Balikis Oluremi Odugbesan. |

It’s 2026, cars will be flying soon and this one is still talking about ghost. What can be more ghostly than a flying car. |
| Re: Be Careful So You Don't Marry A Ghost In Abuja Or Lagos! by itzadorable333: 3:29pm On Oct 17 |
GanagiBitrus:Well you are right, or used to be right. If it were like 3 to 4 generations before us, it would have been easily possible because back then there were still places in the rural areas where modernization had not yet tainted so the veil between the spirit and the physical was still less closed as opposed to now that almost everywhere has been tainted. Howbeit there are still pockets of places that yet exist untainted, but they are so few now that finding them is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But if one happens to find those places, and try the above-mentioned, like you said, they will surely see. |
