Hahahahahahahahaha! Vicky or "Vicky E." like I call a namesake of yours that I know! For your information, I am politically neutral! I commend and/or condemn anything whether APC, PDP, AG, APP related, depending on my own perspective. Nigerian politics is not worth my time and too much attention. However, you just signaled to me that you are a PDP loyalist!
By the way, I've been curious on the idea behind the phrase "supporter of APC" and how it was coined! It sounds hilarious whenever I hear it or see it! #LOLZ
i will vote for.GEJ SIMPLE!

Who gives a fucck what foreign media thinks?
Nigeria is still punching far below her weight, if not , we would have come to realize that a lion does not care about the opinions of the sheeps.
Imagine china ,russia or brazil jubilating because of a rare positive news from the west.
Oh Nigeria.

The Lagos State took initiative, took responsibility and did all it needed to do- It took both the curative and preventive approach. It sincerely and its attitude showed that it cherished the lives of all those infected and was not only committed to the prevention of the spread but also the recovery of those infected. At the end, the obvious thing was the success that was achieved, the inconspicuous thing was the fact that the State Governor was Presidential and led the the Lagos State Government in a proactive mode in comparison to its Federal Counterpart who would have gone the route of committees and inefficiency as it has done with all its crisis situations ( we have enough examples) . It was clear to us all that if Sawyer had arrived in Abuja , our miracle story would not be the same. Let the fisherman continue to use Ebola to campaign.

Your reaction is becoming funny. It was a collective effort. The American doctor could never do it alone.

Do you know how many American and European doctors are in the Ebola stricken Nations?

It was a collective effort.

Even the contacts and suspected cases who showed up to be quarantined were amazing.

Imagine if they did not show up to be monitored and given early treatments.

I agree the American Dr David should be immortalised and his name and Dr Adadevoh should be at the fore front of these heroic tales.

That is the power in togetherness. We can achieve so much more if only we can jettison our ethnic and religious acrimony and fight our common enemy as a people.we can overcome insurgency, corruption, bad leadership, electoral fraud and so much more if we fight with the same spirit with which we fought EVD in Nigeria.
God bless this nation.

Nigerians are very fearful people who don't want to die for anything. They won't protest agaist the government because they don't want to be shot, they won't protest agaist the police when there is any extrajudicial killings all bcause 'nobody wants to die'. Now that ebola ( a killer) came to our land where nobody wants to die what did u expect? D killer will only get those unaware of its presence b4 d word goes out and after dat it can't get anyone again. My point is that the nigerian masses r the ones that curbed the spread of ebola not our useless government that used d oportunity to embezzle funds meant to curtail it. So america n co shld not boda to meet any gov official about ebola they shld come n ask us the masses we will tell them how to curb the spread!

Couldn't have been more happier being a Nigerian at a point when all odds were against us. Shame on seccessionists and detractors who gloated over our challenges hoping and intensively praying this situation crumble and eventually disintegrate us. God pass them. They will continue to get disappointed as we make more gains out of a chaotic situations. Nigerians are built tough to face and conquer tougher situations. Imagine what more we could achieve as a nation if we forsake politics of sentiment and clannishness and vote on the basis of antecedent or track records. I keep saying that we have not unlocked 1/3 of our potentials. The world aint seen nothing yet. Love naija.

When you do things right, the world is forced to notice and respect you. We ought to draw a big lesson from this event. No one grants you respect you didn't earn.

I'm really feeling proud here! smiley

That's the true Nigerian spiritism.

By the way, where do you reside?

Thank God if it makes you feel better, but bear in mind that an individual who left Nigeria ONE WEEK AGO, has been diagnosed with Ebola in Spain, where a total of 4 people have been quarantined after testing positive for Ebola.

If a single traveler from Nigeria to Spain tested positive for Ebola TODAY October 7th 2014, then it is CERTAIN that the traveler contracted Ebola INSIDE Nigeria, meaning of course that there are an unknown number of infectious yet possibly un-diagnosed Ebola cases still living in Nigeria at this very moment, despite the urgency with which entire country is scrambling to thank God for preventing all future incursions of the Ebola virus into Nigeria.

In other words, the danger of Ebola is FAR from over, so thank God if you must, but do not ASSUME that God has performed His assigned duty of keeping Nigeria free from a virus that is spreading like wildfire all over Africa, and now leap-frogging across oceans to infect new continents.

Enemy of progress. He was tested NEGATIVE for crying out loud.
