To me, I think that if the guy is single as well a little bit of a hint would be enough.

Well I quite agree with you, but you see, a girl who is a Feeling type who goes on to reveal her crushing-ness to a guy who is a Thinking type is HIGHLY ON HER OWN.

It becomes worse, if they (girl and guy) haven't developed any bond of sorts.
