Having picked up my visa on friday I still feel like I am in dreamland. When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion,we were like them that dream dreams.
I bless God,my banner my helper,my fortress and the lifter up of my head. The God that uses the foolish things of this earth to confound the wise.
The journey was stressful. The road was narrow, two separate journeys from abuja to lagos, lots of expenses, anxiety, sleeplessness and PRAYERS. God did it. Thanks to my family who stood by me all through the journey. Love u loads.
This thread is impeccable. Learnt a lot, laughed at funny posts, met good people. I can't mention names but the german machines know themselves. Thank u guys
I pray for others awaiting their testimonies, you shall come forth rejoicing.
God bless

Your National Diploma result is not sufficient to apply for Bsc admission in Rhine Waal University.
You need HND results or 100 level University's transcripts plus other requirement like TOEFL or IELTS, SSCE (waec or neco),I think that's all but please do yourself a favour of reading some pages backward and also visit the school website, use Google to search in most cases or use www.daad.de to seach for schools and courses. Rhine waal university is not the only school that have 100% of her courses taught in English language. If you require more info or still not cleared pls ask it all here. Regards

@kuzee, ur questions has been answered by someone .ond is not enough to apply for bachelor program.u must have hnd or one year university study.if I were u,I will go and register for NOUN asap and apply next year becos to go for HND will be another two years.and also try and write toefl exam and score 80 and above, with these you are good to go.I bliv I have done justice to this...Rhine waal has one of the easiest application process,u don't need to send any document or pay applicarion fee.I applied three time before I got this admission,I applied with OND in the first time, second time with my HND but expired TOEFL,third time I have everythng in place.I scanned my document to them July 15 and I got three admission from the school July 16...make sure u start ur preparation now..Go and register for Toefl, register for NOUN so u can use the one year result or transcript to apply,I hope u find this my essay useful

@kayus boss,I wonder who u call mr metusellah,I will not argue with you becos you don't understand the situation.I wish u could.you won't be running your mouth here. I don't owe u anything,or any explanation.
mr bissiejoe its not too late for me to help u,just ask me nicely I may get it for u without u sending me money. I just don't like the way u talked to me.u wanna send me somthing and u r ordering me.I am not in the millitary n don't take orders.

Re: German Embassy And Visa by gadafitruth: 8:04am On Oct 20, 2014
@kuzee.. I want inform you that your OND is enough to get you admission into some German Universities. The big secret is None under Uni-Assist but through individual Uni's that accept admissions directly. They are about 7 in total that accept a O'level + OND from Nigeria. I have my facts since 2 of my younger bro's are studying there.

Try as much as possible to dedicate time to search using daad.de and also through each state universities. All info you need is at your finger tips, you do not need to budge to the norm and normal saying of OND is not enough. Believe me one of the 2nd generation(last quarter of 2012 set) members know about this info that few know of..so my brother start the search, email, contact the skls directly.. if u are not clear come back here and ask questions; that will benefit others also.

I wont do that as I have seen few old members of the thread guard this info with some codes, so I have deciphered enough, it now remains each individual to make his/her own findings...An old member of this thread likes to use, people should run their race, not together with anyone so a OND holder should be able to dedicate at least few hours to browse(on tablet but preferably PC) and all info they need is right there staring them in the face.

Dont crucify the post but I believe people running their own race wont make applications to such institutions over the roof. So pls start the search coz the info is there.

It is very true, Rhein waal is very strict about the admission process. It is either ur HND or first year transcript from uni and also English language skill is compulsory.

kayus, dont mind the guy. If he knows the number of people i got things for when traveling without collecting dime from before leaving naija. I am not asking him to do that, i expected he would add me on whatsapp and we will kick in from there cos i didn't want to ask for his number first and i gave him mine.
Anyway, no ill feelings. If he enters, we go still relate wella.
Re: German Embassy And Visa by bissiejoe: 9:01am On Oct 20, 2014
@Kunlelikeme.
See where you are getting it wrong, i didnt ask you to go back and read. I simply said if you read my mail well you will see where i said i will pay you. I gave you my number so that you could add me on whatsapp and we would chat on how to go about the payment and not thru sending mail here and there.
I won't want to flog this issue further, but just to correct the impression that i was ordering you around like a kid. I would never do that cos people i met on this thread didn't do that to me. I appreciate the favour you want to do for me, thats y i asked you to add me on whatsapp.
Anyway, no hard feelings. Wish you safe trip

Hello house,
For those who are already studying or have studied, Is it possible to change schools after you have started in a university? Hypothetically you start in one university this winter semester and then you want to change to another university by summer semester, Or if one starts in summer semester and wants to go to a different university in the winter semester to do a different course? How easy is it to make changes? What does one need to do to switch school? (This is for bachelors degree)
Please help!

Can someone respond to this please...
Re: German Embassy And Visa by Eke40seven(m): 9:50am On Oct 20, 2014
Been away for a day or two because of poor network, hustle, prayers, fasting and cracking of brain to redeem myself and all...na mountain I dey find now grin. A lot has transpired self. Sweet gracious testimonies, newbies, and also the ongoing Rhine Waal family quarrel grin. This one na simple thing na, sometimes, misunderstandings set in when we communicate virtually and that is what happened in this case. tones of voice and writings and intentions may be completely misinterpreted.... although am enjoying the little squabbles grin but make una solve this little wahala. we have all come a long way.

@gadafitruth, what you said about some schools that accept OND and O'level is very true, although very limited. As I commented a few days ago, someone I know saw someone who proved how she applied through Uni-assist with O'level..but the reason why I didn't reveal the name of the school yet is that, I have not confirmed more school myself and I have called for research to be made on more school which would accept this but nothing has come out of it yet..I know if I mention the school now as you know us Nigerians, without thorough research for alternatives, I will be causing more harm than good. because everybody will slot in that small school for the limited space at the end of the day the rate of disappointment will be higher than when we have thoroughly searched for alternatives and people with the O'level and OND self we are fighting for at the end of the day may not be the ones to benefit.
Unfortunately, in the last few days, I have not been emotionally stable as my normal self to do proper research, am not at home and my network is not helping issues. I'm neither going for a Bsc course but I know I would have thoroughly researched it if everything was set...so please, if you know a number of schools or have a tip on how people can check it, you can spill it here. I understand not everybody is on equal level when research is taken into context but we can make things easier.
If the trend here is for people to 'hide' facts on schools as you alleged (which I don't really believe) then you and I and others who are interested can break the trend.
God bless this mighty thread and let the testimonies roll in. and those expecting miracles like me grin shall get it IJN.

Please house, my friend is asking me for the sponsorship letter must the person be earning €1500 after tax deducted or before tax deduction? according to him must it be netto or grotto? Thanks guys.
Please attend to my question. is it that the person is qualified to be a sponsor if 1) 1,500 euro is left after tax deducted from his salary or
2) even if it is exactly 1,500 euros he earns then if tax is deducted his final pay left with him is less than 1,500...can he still qualify to be a sponsor? because he works only 5 hours right now cos he has no responsibilities yet.

You can switch courses through normal applications and you wouldn't need visa hassles here in Naija. The application process is the same...but this is possible if you had extended your initial 3 months visa you were granted here in Naija in the school through which you were granted admission, if you are planning to switch to another school in a subsequent semester.
However, if for instance you were granted admission in two schools and you used one for your visa processing, you can decide to resume at the other one when you get to Germany.
Our ogas can add minus or help throw more light into this for your benefit and for the benefit of others.
Hope you find it helpful.

Good luck!

Pls dont quote me..if you misunderstood me then move on..lol.. on a more serious note I can bring out some post by some of the old members but seems no one was really taking note then, I believe anyone going to study overseas especially a place like Germany(independent research and study is what is done in Germany) start the research and at the end of the day you will be fulfilled as you will not be obliged to thank anyone but your God, and nairaland. its not about me holding any info, its about the people who need it to start doing their search right away.

Tip as you said is to take out all Uni's under Uni assist, that leaves you with few that run programs in english.

When he goes to get the letter at the council, if he is eligible for such with less than 1,500 euro after tax, he will be given, if not then no. His earning s from what you stated above is around that figure even minus tax, so you he should be fine.

Welcome back brother. May the Lord answer our prayers and sanction all your heart desires concerning this journey in Jesus name. Congrats to all that have picked their visas and good news to those that are awaiting. Shalom

@Kunlelikeme.
Wish you safe trip

ehhmm, I think d problem here is that you implied that he wasn't serious or something lyk dat when you said if he had read you previous mail. dat can sound offensive to some people

@kunlelikeme i hail the essay was quite efficacious, I don't know if you are trying do direct entry or starting up again from year one, that what obfuscate me,the said hnd or 100 level transcript,is it for direct entry since m not planning to do one or just part of the requirement to be admitted into the school afresh?

Eke40seven:

You can switch courses through normal applications and you wouldn't need visa hassles here in Naija. The application process is the same...but this is possible if you had extended your initial 3 months visa you were granted here in Naija in the school through which you were granted admission, if you are planning to switch to another school in a subsequent semester.
However, if for instance you were granted admission in two schools and you used one for your visa processing, you can decide to resume at the other one when you get to Germany.
Our ogas can add minus or help throw more light into this for your benefit and for the benefit of others.
Hope you find it helpful.

Good luck!

Thank you Eke40seven, You are very helpful!

I beg to disagree with you. I think the other guy ego is just beyond normal if I must use that word. Reading through their conversations , there is no big deal about what he said.
