My Oga, the warnings were for the good of all. What is happening now is a retracement and if you know what it means, it makes for good exit opportunity.

The thing here is that some people see beyond what you are told by the CBN, Ngozi and co. Until there is the hope of the oil price trending back up, all will not be well with your country. Think devaluation of the naira and its consequences on the equities market.

This market is still not going anywhere, look to start investing again from Q2'15.

Emotion flying up and down. The market goes up and down in cycles just like any other rhythm in life therefore it is not uncommon to see a couple of bullish days within a bearish period and a couple of bearish days within a bullish period. In all these scenarios, there are always opportunities
Either on the sell or buy side.

If you do not know who you are, the stock market is an expensive place to find out. grin grin grin

Ogbeni calm down...

The activities that go down on Customs Street constitute a game. Nothing more.

I bought Custodian at NGN 3.57 this morning and at the time of this posting it's already at NGN 3.75.

Beautiful game. Innit?

When there is more than a 10% fall in the equity market, it is called stock market correction. More than a 20% fall is termed stock market crash. The market has lost close to 20% already. What is currently happening could be a temporal reversal. However, even in 2008 market crash, people where still making money. So if you know what you are doing, you may do some JIJO and make some money. We should however apply caution (just in case we are heading to a crash) because if you have never experienced a stock market crash before, it is better to learn from other people's experience instead of learning the hard way.

Me thinks this is a facade. I wanted to buy some few stocks today but I had to recall my request after I saw the abracadabra the market was doing, I instead decided to sell my tasere Honeywell flour.

Good-luck my dear sister. The beautification of it all is the result (Q3, 2014) to justify the rally. Its currently ringing a resonant sound of bullish trend! I had chosen strength ahead of being fearful...

Most of the indexes on the NSE are on the green side today. The NSE ASI would have been a lot greener save for the southward movement of large cap Dangcem.

In another news, its interesting to see all of Tony's interests edging to close above 9.9%. It looks like following the "cowboys" is the fastest route to recovery from a market crash.

Dangcem constitute more than 20% of our index.... when it loses, it drags the index with it. Vice versa.
