Mr man shut the mess.off. i have been a non active follower on nairaland since 2009 until i became active.i can tell you categorically how nairaland got to this level and it all started with you waste binners then always calling us villagers, poor and our place been less developed.

The enugu, owerri and onitsha thread changed many things esp the way we view ourselves because most easterners didn't even know they are even better off and again because of your traveling nature it offered easterners going to the west to understand that you guys are just lousy, empty and local. plus the recent statistics from jamb, weac, neco, CBN bank concentration, real estate development in lagos and abuja and so many other things that have happen over the years cos that is what you guys use to brag, that you guys are the most educated, you own the banks,you own this,you own that. Mr man all that has changed for good.it is time for the igbos to brag and as well mock you cos you guys taught them, hence they learnt it from you.

I am also a causal follower of this site since 2010, when this people where calling us villagers,criminals and drug lords , they even accuse us of yahoo yahoo whereas they are the ones that brought it and its their field profession.
Tpia and some others like dayokun never cease to insult us on this site. They are the oldies in tribalism but we don't have any Igbo responding to them in their own coin, what about their newspapers? Only the bad stuff in the east is been reported.
Now they should just take whatever we say both online and offline in good fate because they started the burning flame

You've just highlighted the reason why @Arresa opened a thread like this.

Apart from Roads (That everyone is so quick to point out and the pics everywhere online) nothing much seems to be happening in that state apart from one large General Hospital, the Stadium, Ibom Tropicana and other singular projects.

The largest State budget in Nigeria should produce a far larger effect than that.

If Billions of dollars has been pumped into an economy consisting of 4-5 million inhabitants, it should be obvious in terms of money in circulation. People should be flocking in that direction in search of Jobs.

Apart from federal allocation do u know how much lagos gets from taxation and other revenues ?
What does fashola have to show for it.
