please @ boss vicjustice I applied for an irish visa but I was refused with the following reasons

CP:- need to undertake the course in this state not demonstrated or warranted

F:- finances:- evidence provided is deemed insufficient or incomplete. The applicant has provided details that his uncle will cover his full costs. Insufficient evidence of why the sponsor of would pay the applicant rather than his own direct family is not shown. Evidence of relationship to sponsor is also not provided.

ID:- insufficient documentation submitted in support of the application

OB:- obligations to return to home country have not been deemed sufficient

OC:- condition - The potential cost of the trip is high in comparison to the applicants means, and given that no compelling reasons for the trip have been displayed, the visa officer is not satisfied of your intentions to leave the state following your visit.

OC:- observe the conditions of visa - the visa sought is for a specific purpose and duration:- the applicant has not satisfied the visa officer that such conditions would be observed.
SP:- gaps in education or employment not accounted for. No evidence of education or employment since June 2013

Vicjustice, for that last one, I have not been employed nor went to school during this period so please what do I do because I need to appeal...... A reply would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

@justiano97..... Don't bother ur self to appeal. Just repackage ur self and reapply. . . . Irish visa appeal is 30% against 70%. Reasons in the first place *the reason for ur refusal many no be small.... * from the refusal letter. Ur docs were no well packaged. Well no problem. Take it easy, calm down. Let's sort it out.

Hi Everyone

Please i have a question; my hubby and i recently applied for our irish visas to go and visit our son studying there. His school asked us to send them our visa reference number and we can't seem to find it.
One is normally given a slip after submission, but we just realised that we were not given a slip. However, we were given a payment receipt which has a transaction reference (this reference can be used to track the application). So we are confused if the transaction reference number can be used as the visa reference number.

I need to know if i should also contact vfs

Please help.

Bros there is still tym reapply don't change the factual documents u used prviously. Correct the correctables. Amend and repackage ur application. It will be successful

I will be reapplying soon. I just want to get my edu bond ready, so I will tender dat as a proof of finance. Inplace of bank statement, I think edu bond gvs an application upper hand.

7 reasons re too numerious to appeal. From my lil experience. Becos I am talking from experience ......""The irish visa officer is not happy will the word Visa appeal"" they don't like that word. I am not discouraging u, I am only talking from experience. u can still try cos der is no harm in trying, but I would advice u repackage and reapply. Within one month ur visa will be out, instead of wasting time and money appealing,

finance alone is enuf to refuse visa . Not to talk about condition of visa nor the insufficient document provided. Mine was just 4 and my appeal was bluntly tured down even wen the appeal was correctly repackage... But now I am ready for the irish visa officer with my correctly repackaged documents.

the most funny thing is that I don't know if they are saying insufficient fund along with details of sponsor because in my own account I have N2.5m and my sonsor has N4m. And could you please also explain the part where they said the cost of this trip is high in comparison to the applicants means cos my uncle has a company that deals with oil and gas and that shouldn't be a problem so what are they saying?
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Amosiye: 7:55pm On Nov 28, 2014
Bros don't mind those flimsy excuses dos VOs gives for the refusal any small mistake or complicating document dey will use it against u. I found out that 1 reason for refusal in irish visal refusal means a lot.. I am suspecting that the large amount of money in ur account or ur sponsors account is no big deal to the irish VO
Justaino97:

to me those dier terms dey use in reasons for refusal are just big big grammar.
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Amosiye: 8:05pm On Nov 28, 2014
@ justaino I think u complicated issues. Cos u including ur own SOA and that of ur sponsor.. Then u went futher to state that ur sponsor will cover ur full cost altru ur stay in ireland. . . . Bros reason the matter nah. This VO uses psychology in handling our applications. So we need to be smart and constructively ready for them.
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Amosiye: 8:21pm On Nov 28, 2014
@ justaino. Another thing u need to consider is the uncle sponsorship thing.. Wether paternal or maternal. Irish VO don't like the word uncle sponsoring u... . A lot of applicant hv abused d uncle sponsorship format, I will advice u continue using dat uncle thing u hv started with don't change it but let the uncle state clearly his reasons for sponsoring u, and how he will benefit from u wen u finish.

U said ur skool is resuming JAN
Which skool?
Hv u paid ur full fess?
What program? Pg or ud?
How strong was ur SOP?
Did u include an application letter?
Did u include an undertaking letter?

Many other key doc which re mandatory.
Hope u re aware. ?
Inshort list our all the docs u submitted. So gurus like dem Justwise, victjustice and dotcomnamename can advice u on what to do.

I will advise you to be patient till your business registration is completed. Allow everything to perfect before you apply. Irish Embassy are so tough, infarct tougher than Canadian embassy. But if you provide exactly their requirements i can assure you they will issue you a visa. Let it be noted that Embassy of Ireland are addicted to confirming each document from applicant. So make sure that all your documents are verifiable.

Thank you for your response i will be patient with the business registration before i proceed and i don’t intend using any fake document everything would be original. If i get my business registration in January and i apply in february wont the embassy use that against me ? also my account is in my name and not the business name since and i only save and save and save but few withdrawals. I have so many questions so i will just ask one after the other

Thank you

I don't think it matters. Infarct i believe its a plus for you since you're using your personal statement. However, you must provide evidence of what you are doing for a living as per how the money get to your personal account? Income of what business? Salary? e.t.c A full explanation regarding this is advisable, at least explain how your income coming in from your business while you're studying and how you eventually decided to register your business and your intention to visit Ireland and what your visit would really mean to you. Any other tie to Nigeria?
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by jeezybuck: 3:40pm On Dec 01, 2014
I really thank you for the enlightenment, the business i do is buying and selling of electronics, phones, laptops amongst other things and the only evidence of what i am doing is to provide a receipt which i really don’t have, but i have a log book where i usually write the inflow and outflow of my transactions i can generate a receipt from the log book, the proceed from the business is what i have been saving and i don’t let customers pay money into my account i rather collect cash because i have been scammed before with a fake credit alert. I can explain how i get customers, the reason i am registering the business is for the business to become a legal entity which will help me secure bigger contracts, also the other account i use is for the business expenditure the money goes in and out within few days can i submit the 2 statement of account ? as for the ties i am not yet married and i don’t have kid(s) but i am looking to buy a land i don’t know if that would happen this year or not.
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by NomadicNaija: 4:38pm On Dec 01, 2014
If you are applying for Irish visa you must show proof that you have strong ties to your country of origin and you have not violated any visa conditions to other countries especially UK and U.S. to avoid automatic refusal. And if you have been refused Irish visa it is best you avoid appeal at all cost, allow some time before making another application. My 1 cent.
