I am not. I want this rubbish off front page. This is a campaign.

I m giving out many bags of rice and cash this Christmas and expect nothing in return. That's the meaning of gift.

Not demanding for essays and certificates and oath of unemployment from a million people just to give one person 100 dollars. Not even in naira.
This is an insult to Nigeria.

When I donate money, I donate money. I don't expect people to work for the money and I don't make them share their private lives, certificates and problems with the whole world. This is what donations are about. Giving without expecting ANYTHING in return.

Apart from that, when I choose to give money to the less fortunate then I don't want other people to know it.

Do you know that the hoodlums in the street are less privilege too, you can also donate to them and let them use your money smoke weed finish, only give ur resources to who needs it the more and make better use of it, then ur efforts will be well appreciated.

Carry on Babyosisi

You have a point here. And I have no problem with someone encouraging people to take part in a competition but she should not call it a Christmas gift then. Gifts are for free.

And I have a problem when people ask others to share private information about themselves online. I hope you people know how much money some people make with your data.

I like the idea of giving someone money out of charity but I don'T like how you go on about it.

If you want to help someone or make someone happy, then just find someone and give him or her money. Why do you have to make a competition out of it? Why would you make them write an essay on their childhood experience? Why would you want them to admit online and for everyone to see that they are unemployed?

Don't you expect too much information for a 100 bucks?

I really do not see how it is a Christmas gift if they have to do all this and most of them will get nothing at the end.

On top N18,500 grin( no thanks to FG).

Anyway at-all at-all na I'm bad. It Will still make somebody happy this Christmas grin

Its a good initiative to keep the umemployed youth busy but uploading of certificates is quite unnecessary.

we have big issues in this country. and this rubbish sense on entitlement is very annoying. the op has decided to give out $100 I.e #18,300 and there is an uproar about the criteria she chose to select the winner. it is not by force to apply and she owes no one an explanation to justify why she chose that criteria. at least she did her bit the best way she thought possible to put a smile on someone's face this season, what have you done to put a smile on someone's face and how many of you can spare #18,000? well done babyosisi, May God enrich your pocket has you give

...and again how do you expect a broke guy to own a camera phone that upload certificate? also any desperate one might use others' certificate(if name is to be blocked or not. The last time i checked we don't sign up to NL wt our real names.
Writing that amount in dollars means you're not in Nigeria? Ma, a lot of things is wrong with the unemployed in Nigeria.
for instance, a close friend with 2 children& a wife, can not subscribe wt N100 for several months now despite having an ipad.
#i appreciate your generosity nd magnanimity btw, i do not doubt them.

I just thought of blessing someone this Christmas season and I thought what better people than the youths of our nation suffering under corrupt leadership with empty unfulfilled promises.
It's not much
Just $100 only
I tried doing this many years ago but it didn't get much support

No one on nairaland will meet ur 200 post. Are u sure you wanna gift out that cash? The only one that can ve 200post is either the moderator or seun

CFCfan, berem and Cococandy can you help me be the judges

2).Your handle must have been registered on nairaland for at least one full calendar year with up to 200 posts or more to qualify

I will suggest u keep ur money cos no one will meet ur demand. Must guys here don't post . The only react to post by others. Moreover not all post re approved by the moderator and sometimes.the moderator decides what he want us to see on nairaland. Asking for 200 post is unbelievable. The right word is "gift" as against "donation" that you have been using. She decides on how she wants the token distributed. No big deal
