Please does the irish embassy go to a persons bank acc and conforms of there's still money there For example a person has =N=2m to in his account and makes a statement and after some months, he removes the money inside the account just a week before applying for the irish visa. Would the embassy go about and nose into a persons balance from the bank or they just look at the bank statement of it's authen. Thank u |

Justaino97: Yes they can! Too many have tried this scam. Also boarder control at POE can check. And your school will check and report you. |

Justaino97: There is nothing like ''they can'' The answer is: They will confirm it. 100% guarantee. So don't even try it. Irish Embassy are a specialist in confirming each document one by one. They're hotter than fire in confirmation of documents. Tougher than Canadian High Commission sef. 1 Like |

worry359: You call any Bank in Ireland and they will tell you they do not disclose the balance on the accounts . The Revenue can access your balance if they suspect you owe tax . A letter must be sent from a high ranking tax official for the bank to show details. I think if they suspect criminal activity they can get a court order to see the balance. This also applies for ex wives looking for maintenance. I believe if they have got information on an account it would be by unlawful means and investigate, it could be against the data protection act. 1 Like |

There was new rules in Jan 2014 for sponsors of tourist visas that they must show 40K over 3 years income . I am redundant but have savings in access of 70K . I did send a letter to INIS to find out what savings would be adequate for a C 90 day visa but they avoided the question . |

Hi, I want to know my chances of having the visa. I'm about to file my visa application, well actually my reference(friend) in dublin will since im in Taiwan working and no consulate here. my problem is my bank account here is just only 3months. also can I use a copy of my passbook other than their chinese bank statement and my payslips here as proof of my income and financial capability to support myself to visit ireland? the statement is not easily read as to what is my current balance is, but it is clear in my passbook that I have a current 2000 usd balance. btw my salary here is 2000 usd per month. Also stated in my letter of assurance and invitation that my travel will be both be supported my me and my friend for eg. food and lodging. they will just call my friend for verification of this right? I can assure them that I'll be leaving since I have my certificate of employment and approved leave duration. Also i include my contract so that they could see that I have the right to stay in here after I visit Ireland. |

Justaino97: You must register only if you're residing in Ireland for a period of more than three months, must register with local immigration registration officer. An immigration certificate of registration (GNIB Registration Card) is issued by the Garda National Immigration Bureau to a non-EEA national who so registers. A fee of €300 is charged in respect of each immigration certificate of registration issued to a non-EEA national with effect from 19 November 2012. |

hello everyone. I wish to apply for a visitor visa to visit an aunt of mine in Ireland. I am married and I have two sons but I wish to go alone for two weeks out of my annual leave. I work with a private university as an admin officer. I earn 89k per month (after all deduction). My aunt will accommodate me for those two weeks. presently I have 416,000 in my account. pls can anyone tell me how long d processing time takes and with my situation, do I stand a chance of getting d visa bc I don't know how strict Irish vo's are. your words will help a long way. thank u. |

atkin8: This is incorrect the €40k over 3 years relates to Family reunification cases ONLY - where the reference in Ireland must show as least this amount of earnings |
