American and Russia have had a cold relationship since the fall of the Soviet union. So one can comfortably say that Russia is the opposite of America. Russians actually sell their weapons to countries that have troubled relationship with U.S, Or at war. and any country getting arms from Russia is closely monitored by the U.S, like Syria, Libya. etc, in a broader sense U.S is afraid of Russian made weapons and That's why the stop at Nothing in making sure their allies have no access to Russia made weapons, for instance the Malaysian airlines flight that was shot down in Ukraine by a Russian made BUK missile is still giving the U.S sleepless night.
