Go to any large prison and interview inmates about their family background.

You will see the large number of them from failed and dysfunctional homes/marriages.

I have done a mini-project on hardened criminals with mental health issues. And other works by several researchers.

Quite revealing.

You have made your point.

But that can never stop me frm marrying at 23 i.e. immediately after my Msc,
I plan to have my first n Last child at 24 n 26, Obtain my Phd during that Period, and Proceed to higher level at 26.
It can never stop my career and Passion for Education. My vision in Life by God's Grace is to be a good Wife material to my Husband, The best Mother to my children, and finally become an Emeritus In my Discipline.

Who says u can't achieve while married,that's fallacy infact what it takes is proper planning moreso what's the greatest achievement than to recreate a child o become useful to the society. Its fleshy gain and materialism that makes many still remain single forgetting the fact that your child can even change the story of poverty in a generation and it is the commandment of God to protect against mischief on earth perhaps there's no time bound but if you must remain single to pursue career u must remain a virgin (if nature will not ask).thanks

No it doesn't. Nor does marrying with grey hair guarantee kids' success.

If you marry at 24, say after NYSC and you're a young army/police officer or young banker or civil servant, you have the potential to grow in your career and be economically comfortable. Same if you're in private business.

If you married a compatible wife/hubby and you both have a common goal and you have the right foundation, there are good chances your kids will succeed.

There are no guarantees. Even some kids of billionaires fritter away their inheritance and succumb to drug abuse.

So na by Grace of God o.

Most of my male friends got married in their early-mid-twenties, and they're doing great. It's not a race, yes, but do it early if you can.

U have a valid point. Some single females are just liabilities. They dont see marriage responsibility as joint one, they see marriage as a means of getting out of poverty. A friend of mine is dating an unemployed 29year old girl and d girl is insisting on wedding before 30years can u imagine

This article is misleading.
We must not forget the fact that the primary purpose of marriage is reproduction.
Companionship and all other things come after this.
Bearing in mind that the average age of terminus of reproductivity is decreasing, one must make necessary adjustments to make the aim of marriage remain viable.
Once you feel confident of succeeding in it, you just do it. A real partner would help you fulfil your dreams, not otherwise.
After all, some who followed this path never achieved their dreams. They got married all the same and sense of responsibility, coupled with goodwill finally saw them hit heights they nevr thought possible.
