Don't say what you know little about. Mr. President was right in the two statements he made. In 2010 when Eagle Square was bombed the official MEND had accepted amnesty from Yaadua and they couldn't have carried out the dastard act. It was a break-away (but unrecognized) faction led by Henry Okah that carried out the bombing. So GEJ was right to say the real MEND was not responsible. In fact, leaders of the official MEND issued a press statement distancing themselves from the bombing and they are still enjoying amnesty from the FG. The fake MEND which Okah superintends (and now been resuccitated by Jomo Gbomo) vehemently rejected the amnesty offer. GEJ was 100% right.

Wisdom they say, is profitable. A good leader does not respond to every issue all the time but allows a place of time before clearing the doubt. The president has been patient not to reply his acusers in order to save the country from boiling. But there are those who are desperate and hence, do not care because they are almost facing off in life. Please, lets be wise.

6 years spent insinuating that one buhari somewhere was trying to ruin his regime through BH. Now they want to spend another four years with another grandiose insinuation that the same buhari is behind mend! It wont sell! Nothing was done about it?? Why is Henry Okah in prison then?? Were you expecting the FG to arrest every MEND member for Henry's greed?? And yeah its normal for him to defend MEND at first...its unbelievable to think your very own person can carry out an attack on you, like he said..you just don't accuse someone and throw him in prison without evidence. I believe he got evidence which was the reason for Henry's arrest and another reason he can now talk about it

Very plausible when you consider the precise timing and location of the Independence Day Bombing some years back...we guess dismissing the failed attempt was to prevent panic and maybe loss of life amongst the polity.In the extreme heat of your life attempt you still found it necessary to shield,protect and reassure the man/woman in the street that all was well...that is the hallmark of true leadership..GEJ till 2019.

It is a lie. History had it that Jonathan called Okah to deny that MEND was involved in the bombing.

Thinking they had a deal, he openly declared that it was not MEND before MEND insisted they were the one.

That's is not all my brother.
The same Okah was the one Dieziani called to lobby Jonathan to be made Petroleum Minister. Okay revealed incontrovertible evidence to the effect that he was a major power broker in the beginnings of Jonathan's new administration. So many items of information raconteur in his evidence at the trial in South Africa.

Oct 1,2010....GEJ absolved MEND from the bomb attack
near Eagles Square even after MEND led by Henry Okah
claimed responsibility for the attack. Jan 8,2015....GEJ said Henry Okah was paid to kill him during the Oct 1,2010 bomb explosion. Why is GEJ making contradictory statements?
