And I myself am from Majerteen and Issaq. If Somaliland and Puntland are ethiopian territories then why is Ethiopia making deals with somaliland in desperate hope of a port? You my friend keep on going on about controlling Jubbaland. Your army came into somalia when the people were already weakened by the civil war. If your army is so powerful and brave then why did it not make a territory grab at the beginning?

And you keep on boasting about the shifta war in which your 'brave' army took the ethnically somali citizens in the North Eastern province and put them in camps, so you could use them to Parley with the Somali National Army until a ceasefire was declared. The only militants you fought were the Shifta militants.

Kenyan warriors, a thing yet to be seen cheesy
First, Kenya was not interested in somali territories, the main reason KDF is in somalia is because Alshabaab threatened the sovereignity of the Republic of Kenya, and the somali govt had been overpowered by them and therefore we had to show them why Kenya is the backbone of East Africa. You have a notion that KDF is fighting somali people but for real its fighting Alshabaab of which somali army couldnt. You clan and civil wars were not worthy Kenya's attention, but a good and able govt, would have established a strong Army nad police service like that of Kenya, so that they could help in quelling the clan wars....You fail to appreciate that KDF has helped somali claim its land from alshabaab..kismayu,mogandishu to Jubaland...KDF is the reason Turkey is in Somali because they have restored some form of order in that wrecked country.

Kenyans are cowards.

Let me tell you a little bit about Somalis and Somalia just to give you some understanding.

Al-Shabaab means the youth. And the group takes this name very seriously. The large majority of Al-Shabaab fighters are children and teens and the leaders are wayeels (old men) . The Kenyan Military is still having a Hard time fighting a bunch of Kids and old men and yet you boast of being strong. Most of the problems in Somalia are caused by Warlords which the KDF has not even dreamed of confronting, Al-Shabaab just adds to most of the conflict already occuring and the only reason the west reports bout them is because it is a terrorist group. It took a couple of days for your brave KDF to take out a handful of militants in one mall.

Brave Kenyans indeed (note the sarcasm)
i find it very funny when you compare Kenya to Somalia...for God's sake slums are in every country in africa....and outside africa there are slums. The difference is that 15% of Nairobi has slums, 90% of somalia is a slum...child prostitution is everywhere, from africa to india to USA where they even have brothels you can find minors... Somalia is now thinking if establishing schools, where they are soooo poor to do so such that Turkey govt came to their rescue...do i need to tell you that Kenya is a middle income country...
You call Alshabaab kids, while the somali govt+army couldnt handle it? are you trying to impose a plot twist us? KDF deals with alshabaab to the letter but you cant appreciate that you are still struggling to remain relevant. those alshabaabs you are calling teens had taken a whole city of Kismayu, and that country had a govt? Those millitants i saw at westgate were teens? come on you sound irrelevant..Zimbabwe has a devalued currency, but are far much ahead of Somalia.
Lastly, you realli support Alshabaab when they kill innocent people, i wonder why you are not in somalia if you did not go to school. religious psycophancy? i'll leave at that...remember Somalia is the poorest country in the world behind Haiti and DRC.

None of that is in somalia

Most of them are teens.

Obviously the somali government coulnd't fight them, while all the clans are fighting each 0other, they can't assemble enough troops because of the fact that most of the men are fighting clan wars. In fact I look at the Somali Government as some sort of sick joke.

Fighitng al-shabaab isn't a big deal, they're weak so weak they can barely they stand. which is why most of the fighting occurring in somalia is clan wars

slums. The difference is that 15% of Nairobi has slums, 90% of somalia is a slum.

1. You're comparing a city to a country. Lets compare the amount of slums in Kenya to the ones in Somalia

How can 90% of somali be a slum when most somalis live a bedouin and nomadic lifestyle. Most of somalia is desert and we are proud bedouins

And when I was in Hargeisa I failed to find any slums in somalia's second largest city

Get your facts right before you type things down

I said I failed to see any in Hargeisa, I didn't say there weren't any slums in somalia.

Plus that slum is tiny compared to Kibera

How many slums are there in kenya compared to somalia was my point as he tried comparing Nairobi to the whole of somalia

Plus I already knew there are slums, actually only i one i've seen, in mogadishu, but not in the rest of somalia

No reer badiye have a ancestor root unlike these

"In addition to the “noble” tribes who trace their ancestry to either Qaysi (northern Arabian) or Yamani (southern Arabian) origin, traditional Bedouin society comprises scattered, “ancestor-less,” vassal tribal splinter groups who shelter under the protection of the large noble tribes and make a living by serving them as blacksmiths, tinkers, artisans, entertainers, and other workers."

Kibera is a necessary evil. Your alleged brothers(yea right) the Sudanese Nubians(given the Kibera land by The British for sucking up to them) have not been constructing proper housing. The result is a simple, cheap neighbourhood that is serving hustlers, some refugees who havent yet a steady foot in the city. Thats why we don't demolish it. For the sake of humanity.

There are some cushites, I think somewhere in the region who trade in salt harvested from a crater lake somewhere in the desert. They've been doing it for ages. I loved that documentary. Hardy lifestyle.

So other African countries have never experienced internal armed conflicts?

Ethiopia - September 1, 1961 — May 29, 1991 Eritrean War of Independence

Rwanda - October 1, 1990 — July 18, 1994 Rwandan Civil War
April 7, 1994 — July 15, 1994 Rwandan Genocide

Liberia - 1989 — 1996 First Liberian Civil War
1999 — 2003 Second Liberian Civil War

Mali - 1990 — 1995 Azawad insurgency and Malian civil war
April 11, 2002 — ongoing Insurgency in the Maghreb
2007 — 2009 Second Tuareg rebellion
2012 — Third Tuareg Rebellion
2012 — ongoing Northern Mali conflict

Niger - 1990 — 1995 First Azawad insurgency
April 11, 2002 — ongoing Insurgency in the Maghreb
2007 — 2009 Second Azawad insurgency
2012 Tuareg Rebellion

Nigeria - 1967 — 1970 Nigerian Civil War
1999 - ongoing Boko Haram conflict

Sierra Leone - March 23, 1991 — January 18, 2002 Sierra Leone Civil War

Western Sahara - 1970 - ongoing Western Sahara conflict
October 30, 1975 — September 6, 1991 Western Sahara War

CAR - 1987 - ongoing Lord's Resistance Army insurgency
2004 — 2007 Central African Republic Bush War
2012 — 2014 Central African Republic conflict (2012–2014)

Rep. Congo - 1997 — 1999 Congo (Brazzaville) Civil War

Democratic Republic of Congo - March 8, 1977 — May 26, 1977 CE Shaba I
May 11, 1978 — June 1978 Shaba II
1987 - ongoing Lord's Resistance Army insurgency
October 24, 1996 — May 16, 1997 First Congo War
August 2, 1998 — July 18, 2003 Second Congo War
1999 — 2007 Ituri Conflict
2004 — ongoing Kivu Conflict
2007 - ongoing ADF insurgency
1987 - "ongoing" Katanga insurgency

Chad - 1965 — 1982 Civil war in Chad

Mozambique - May 30, 1977 — October 4, 1992 Mozambican Civil War
2013 CE - ongoing Internal conflict in Mozambique

Angola - November 11, 1975 — April 4, 2002 Angolan Civil War

And many more...

Most of those conflicts have been resolved and the most of those countries are booming. Why is it Somalia a mono ethnic, mono religious entity is still at war? Which brings us back to that Darwinism theory. Do you think the theory holds merit in this case?Does isolation and inbreeding play a role? Debate. .

when i talk of slums i mean places with no decent housing and poor...Some of the slums you are talking about in Kenya have people earning more than somalis who leave in manyattas...how can people who have no designated home access development? Most of the fighting was due to warlords and interclan fighting not Al-Shabaab. The only people who should be thanking you are the politicians and those in Kismaayo city.
