MI -24s have almost similar airframe design with the super frelon(Sa-321) French.

For all those saying shame to the Nigerian army that chadian helicopters are bombing Nigerian territory, you all should remember that this operation is a Multi National Joint Task force(MNJTF) operation agreed upon by four countries Nigeria, Niger, Cameron and Chad against Bokoharam. At this point we all should be concerned about the outcome of this operation which is hoping that these operations helps to crush those insurgents.

That location could be a base of the limited sort I outlined earlier.Every where else , in the event of sustained day time military operations with the best OPSEC , an attack helicopter will be spotted .
Its not like everyone around there is hostile.
Note that that picture(s) could have been taken by a military personnel at that location.
For all the lectures the rank and file would have received,people still do stoopid things that they mental justify by saying that it hurts no one.
Example a cousin of mine served (nysc) at the air force base in markudi.On her iPad pictures taken on the base included pictures of the flight control tower,aircraft hangers showing choppers and jets including the most recent acquisitions the Chinese made F-7s.
What's worse some airmen were in some of the shots ad well as in the background of other pictures.
