As a Christian Why Do You Believe in This Truth of GOD.

Coz he is my comforter, my all in all
My creator who knws the best for me

I believe GOD Because , He Is, and The Bible say it is so... I believe the Bible because the It's prophesies are coming to pass.
Also Philosophy Proves It with nature.
And I experienced GOD'S Goodness In my life time without number.

Coz of the presence of evil. With that proven, I decided to be on the side of the most powerful being.

he speaks to my heart and i listen, he gives me the words and i prophesy, he gives me his life so i know not the plagues of this world, he opens my eyes and i see mysteries, he wrote his law on my heart so i teach teachers...he raised me from the dead and i'm a star, a son of the bright morning star, a bride prepared for him...he is the Alpha and Omega, the Aleph and Taw, the Ancient Rock, the Fairest of 10,000, the Elixir of Life, the Holy One, the Last Ruler and his Empire is forever...he is Yeshua ha'Mashiach but i guess you know him as Jesus Christ!

Hmmm... So many reasons:

As a child my parents would always take me to church and I naturally believe what I was always told.

As I grew into adulthood, I grew to believe the God of the Christians because I grew as one.

But in all these, I never experienced Him. My believing in the God of Christians did not save me from my sins, sicknesses and pains, it only made me religious.

Then, I really got to know Him and experience Him in the real sense of it that beautiful Sunday morning when His Word found His way into my hardened but lonely heart and there dealt with the power of sin, gave me His righteousness and made me His son.

Now, I don't just believe, I trust in Him and I love Him with the whole of my heart - its a beautiful experience!

Another reason is that He speaks to me. His voice is very audible to my heart so why won't I trust Him.

He also hear me and respond to my discussion with Him.

My flesh and the devil is another reason. They always tempt me to walk contrary to God. They bring distraction whenever I want to do anything that brings glory to God. It tells me God is real cos if He is not, why will my body always want to always prevent me from doing His will?

I think these will do for now!

He saved me from death three times. I would have been dead long ago but for Him

I've also seen guardian angels in my dreams (probably my guardian angels) and other angels in dreams and a vision.

I have super peace everyday because He is the source of my peace even though there is a raging storm around me

Twice, He showed me heaven and it was confirmed through the testimonies of others

He has made Himself known to me so that I've complete confidence in His existence

He has Called me to preach His Word and that is why I have a purpose


....and that is why I shall never stop believing in God

haha. God has revealed Himself to me many times but not in the respect of seeking Him which I haven't quit doing.

Many may not believe me when I say Jesus has visited me in the dream and talked with me twice. Another time, while praying I was caught up in a vision where He appeared by my side as light and spoke to me. That was the only time He appeared as a bright light in human form but the voice was gentle, peaceful and full of authority and I just 'knew' He was the one.

Last week Thursday and Friday, He visited me yet again. I have seen what He looks like, His brown hair, His smile, the waves of love that radiates from His being, the power and authority about Him and especially His very gentle voice. I am at the point where it is impossible to doubt His existence.

I can't begin to relate to you other times He has visited me nor the time He showed me ALL the great servants He used in the Bible from Adam to John who wrote the book of Revelation. I saw all of them - Abraham, Daniel, King David, Peter the Apostle, Jeremiah, Joshua, Queen Esther, Solomon, Apostle Paul, Isaiah, Zechariah, Luke...etc, all in a gathering...and more.

However, in respect of seeking God, I haven't found Him yet. I know I will. It is but a question of patience. Moreover, when I do, I shall let my brothers and sisters in Christ know so as to encourage them to pursue the same goal.

I am sorry if I caused some misunderstanding. I had to write this so that you'd know the root of my absolute confidence in God's existence.

Loloooooo you made me laugh as if you read my mind. Well i will not stop reading your stories because i love them. I wish you will tell me why you stopped believing. The word "stopping' instead of "questioning" is really an issue for me. If you question what you believe in,maybe you will find answers but never stop. Enjoy your weekend.
