Exactly what i went thru 2weeks ago , don't know why they re doin this , i was told they made an instant transfer , i got my money 3 days after series of calls

Exactly what they are telling me, "that they made the transfer @ 9:30am" tday. This is really not a good deal from them.

What is it with this 'M/C'? Must you guys use them? please its your money and you deserve the best service. Anything short of that is totally unacceptable!

I remember I went through hell opening an account with them but the funny thing is that afterwards,I have never had any issue since the account was opened. I don't even call them when I make a funds transfer. For example, I made an online transfer yesterday night and it was available for trading before the market opened today without placing any call. I just might be one of a lucky few until I request for funds maybe cheesy cheesy
I think they just need to improve on their customer service generally. They have a very good product (iTrade).

Chairman....You cant just say some things half way naa cheesy

Abeg answer us naa!! will this bull in the banking sector last more than today?

Bros, sorry for my late response, i had to attend a meeting.

Now, from my little study and observation between yesterday and today, it is evident that the bull will definitely rule till next week..Why? you may ask.

Everybody expected a negative result from the banking sector and the worst due to the decline in price of crude oil, economy instability etc..But two major banks has proved us wrong. GTB and Zenith both released a positive result with highly juicy dividend yield. Thats why the market went crazy today in expectant of other banking stocks to produce a good result with dividend.

If you noticed that towards the end of trading today, to other major banks were on high bids..The two banks are UBA and FBNH. I expect these two banks to rally in as they are still undervalued.

What gave me the assertion that the banking stocks are a place to be ATM is when i saw an unlikely huge amount been put into UBN( a stock the hardly trades more than N8m worth of units before).

My simple advise is grab the opportunity while it last and shine your eyes, as the NSE has a mind of its own. smiley

And to add, GTB and Zenith bank did a wonderful and strategic thing by ensuring the closure dates for dividend is before elections. grin That was really smart of them.

Are you sure? Have you tried withdrawing before the proceeds of your trade hits your account? It is like asking for proceeds of sale made today before the normal maturity of T+ 2 clearing cycle. That way you are borrowing money from them. Lol. It is different from placing a buy mandate......They are entitled to commission from such instruction so not a bad deal.

Yeah..i understand your point but meristem doesnt charge me extra for sale made before the normal maturity of T+ 2 clearing cycle.

However, Morgan is still in the right track in this case. If you cant wait for it to mature, then you have to drop some commission. Lol smiley

MorganCapital too like money.

Greetings to great people in this forum. I bless the day I stumbled on this thread. I thank all of u that contribute immensely on this platform. With the knowledge I have acquired here, my mind is made up, to invest @ least 1M in NSE. I intend to use Morgan capital but am not certain what is their minimum amount to open account. An idea from anyone in this forum is high appreciated.

This week was very interesting. Zenith and GTB caused a stampede on the floor. But there is yet one more banking stock that will shake the market when results are declared. I see dividend yield of close to 20% at current price. By the time results are declared on this one, the stampede will be uncontrollable. The share price may as well triple b4 the dividend pay date. I have spoken in parables so please do your due diligence on this one. Happy investing. cool
