As igbo people, we are not supposed to fold our arms and watch as things go wrong in our states, lets gather here to critically analyse the performances of our state governors with a view to improve their performance and shame the non performers.

I am not going to reveal my state, so I don't sound partial. I am from Igboezue state. I live in Igboezue.

I dont support any party, (pdp or apc or labour party or ppa or sdp should keep off) I vote for individual performance, so let's forget partisan politics in our exchanges.

Because when you critically look at it, Obiano is just about a year in office. Let us compare his one year with Rochas one year and you see Obiano will be lagging behind, and yet Imo state ppl have blasted Rochas in the past as an all round failure. So how far?

The problem with the Conference Centre is that those who started it (Chimaroke Nnamani) had vested interest in the project and since they fell apart, Chime did not continue work on it.

Yes Rural communities have not received the level of attention the Urban Communities have. What Chime has done in the CoalCity is good at all stand point.

True, I had problem with that decision too. T. A. Orji has been one of the biggest flop among the governors in Nigeria consider the potential of Aba in Abia State and the resources in his disposal. (For posterity sake, I am amending that decision). Happy Sunday!

I think I ought to subscribe to this thread.. Just the other day, I was arguing with a friend from Enugu that Obiano is better than Peter Obi but she was like, P. Obi built all the roads that the only thing Obiano did was to chase touts away from Opaiweka. I couldn't argue much since I reside in Lag and she resides in Enugu, so I assumed she knows better than I do since her elder bro hustles at Onitcha..

The only serious governors we have in south east are Chime and Obiano. Rochas the clownish governor was not elected to build bridges for igbo people. The only bridge he is building is for himself alone to move to north and west where he comes from.

I am very convinced thay Obiano is better than Peter Obi. Government is all about acting, and Peter Obi spent 8 years talking.

I am not an APC member and I can assure whosoever that is reading that the reason Okorochas name is being mentioned in the negatives here is because he is not just APC but a boisterous member determined to lure the whole igbo into Tinubu/Buharis APC. Lots of igbo hate that . But that said, the best governor in the whole of SE as we speak is Rochas Okorocha! He has his massive flaws, for instance, the quality of his roads can do better. He should also stop promoting a jihadist party that is DOA in the east. Apart from these, dude is on steroids! To me, it is a crime against humanity to put Obianos name in this same sentence with Okorochas . But then measuring dikcz has become a favourite pastime for our belligerent BROTHERS from Anambra . Otherwise, what has a bemused Willie done to earn such respect? Cleaning of upper iweka? Where are tthe roads being done by Obiano? Imo state is a construction site under Rochas. State of the art General hospitals in every Local government. New university. Almost every rural road under construction. Free education, less corruption. If this guy was into mainstream politics say with APGA or PDP, my guess is that he will be celebrated across board as the best Governor east of the Niger as we speak.

I doubt if he will ever reduce his pace of developing Anambra considering the fact that he would want to surpass Obi's giant strides. Secondly,Obiano has increased the IGR from 500-600 million naira monthly to 1.2billion within 1 year in office.And he is targeting 3billion a month.The issue of excessive borrowing is a complete hogwash peddled by fifth columnists. Lastly,it is known nationwide that Anambra now is one of the most secure state.All thanks to operation kpochapu that was launched by him.If u watched Channels television last night,u would have seen criminals/kidnappers been paraded before by the police commissioner.And its almost on weekly basis that security outfits record impressive success in crime eradication.I stay in Abakaliki and the crime rate of Ebonyi can't be compared to that of Anambra.
