I created this thread for all concerned and patriotic rivers people , please is this the kind of Rivers state you Need? See the kind of people vying for political positions for our rivers state house of assembly under the crass PDP. (Check the photo attached , here . N:B all info there are true). When wike was the chiarman of obio/akpor,( 1999 -2007 ) as everybody present then can tell, this era was fraught with hooligans and louts (who were never in uniforms) harassing rivers people and residents (dispossessing them of their funds and properties under the pretext of various illegitimate task forces , this era was hell for us from obio akpor ). Also to bring to your knowledge, we (NMA rivers state chapter) had a town hall meeting with the PDP gubernatorial aspirant on tue. 24th, march 2015,where he told us after a lengthy And banal discussion, in his words "My only worry is for Jonathan to win this election, once he does, I can go to sleep, the election will be a work over " this wasn't the first time he made such statement as he has made such boastful statements before now. Thank goodness Jonathan never won. Now i want to ask you rivers people an honest question, is that the kind of Rivers state you Want? Do you want to take rivers state back to those dark Ages? Won't you want a rivers state, filled with vision and free for all both indigene and residents, , please my good people let us choose right and move rivers state to higher grounds...... Rivers State is not my state nor region, though I have couple of properties here in portharcourt. But if Wike wins? God forbid I'll call my lawyer and put up my property for sale. Tonye Princewill is a better of the three, even though I'm more bias toward APC candidate Dakuku Peterside. Neva again Op u forgot to add Victor Ihunwo PHALGA Constituency III (Vikings King Pin) and Evans Bipi is a native doctor not just a cultist. Op no need worrying urself, the game is up for WikeD and his co travellers. Since GEJ lost his elections, things have started returning to normalcy, the Armoured Personnel Carrier usually parked in front of his house has since been removed by the police. A subdued Police Commissioner came to Government House on Wednesday for the first time since assuming office last year to see the Chief Security Officer of the State. The Chief Of Army Staff is from Opobo and a distant cousin to APC candidate Dakuku Peterside so for WikeD the military option is a no go area. Most people actually followed WikeD coz of GEJ now that he has lost most of them are not that enthusiastic about a WikeD as Governor. Ikwerres have ruled for 8 years and most people even the Ikwerres feel it would be unfair if WikeD is allowed to take over from Amaechi. WikeD all throu his campaign neva anticipated that GEJ will lose, so he chose very dull members of House of Assembly, so that he would have a free ride, if he became Governor. Unfortunately for WikeD, most of these people he picked are not grass root politicians, now that the chips are down, they are all still depending on WikeD to Rig/deliver them like he did for all the Reps & Senators. @OP please stop being mischievous because it won't sell to Rivers people. Inasmuch as I would want better candidates for Rivers, I still prefer those fielded by the PDP as they are more loyal to the Rivers cause rather than giving power to some undemocratic and hypocritical APC junks. By the way what has Peterside done to influence the passage of the PIB? What laws has he sponsored in the house that have effect on Rivers State and his constitutency? What constituency project did he embark on? The drama he did on March 28 to ridicule Rivers along with Amaechi shall never be forgotten. He is selfish and he showed that he is ready to bring embarassment to the people of Rivers State and embarrass democracy just to satisfy his paymaster in Bourdillon and Daura. barcanista:Guy those guys have successfully and unjustly projected Rivers state as the home of rigging to the rest of Nigeria all because Amaechi couldn't swallow the shame of not being able to deliver even 25% for his master as campaign DG and governor. He put up that drama to make it look like he could have delivered if things were free and fair. Collynzo9:In every other state across the Federation, the were exit polls in each polling unit, even the Huasas that u guys claim are not educated posted their exit polls from polling unit to ward level to LGA level to State level, However in Rivers and most of the Eastern and Southern States there was not 1 exit poll. Clap for urself... Rivers State, Bayelsa State and Akwa Ibom were the 3 highest state in terms of percentage turnout of voters 76%, 68% and 65% respectively while Kano, Katsina and Lagos States had the following 53%, 56% and 39%. I didn't bother posting it on any social network because I didn't see the need for it, I am sure it was the same with many other people. So people not posting it on social network doesn't mean anything. You and I know that APC fans have always been the loudest on social network and they were busy posting results of polling units in which the won, the few of their fans in Rivers and other states where they aren't popular were too ashamed to post the results of those places. In a few weeks time most of those fellows elected would be thrown out by the tribunals and Court of Appeal. In the next few weeks i shall start uploading videos of election day 28th of March 2015, for the world to see. In Okirika (barcanisters home town) people who wanted to vote for APC were flogged mercilessly, Emouha's result was written in Awuse's hotel in D/Line.
