[quote author=Flets post=32378289]Posterity will judge GEJ fairly.

Providence brought you this far sir, Congrats for writing your name in gold.

Your best wishes for this country was never hidden as we saw in your achievements in almost all sectors, roads, bridges, railways, agriculture, automobile, alamajiri schools, new universities, fertilizer and ghost worker scam elimination, freedom of press, FOI, free and fair elections, power sector.....etc

Even until late, you kept Nigeria first and saved Nigeria from impending anarchy that could have trailed a tribunal or election rejection even when you could.

You were not as forceful as Nigerians wished because of our years of military rule. We lacked patience to see your policies come into tangible fruition. You were grossly misunderstood and propaganda from the opposition camp fuelled the government apathy of the impatient populace.

I will always maintain that you are Nigeria's best president. We were few months away from implementing the confab report that would have enthroned true federalism which would have set us on the path of recovery and greatness.

I am certain posterity will judge you fairly. Through all the insults, you never reacted. You gave all freedom like we've never seen before.

IF WE MUST PRACTICE DEMOCRACY, YOU ARE THE TEMPLATE.

I don't think you lost this election, you are just a victim of a sectional majority and Nigeria actually lost you instead.

I know we Nigerians are an impatient lot with unachievable high hopes

you gotta love this guy and the 339likers

as in

seriously!

Get use to the fact that he lost the Presidency but gained Global prominence. He is a Global Icon of Democracy, a World Statesman in the Calibre of Tony Blair, a candidate for Mo Ibrahim Award and Nobel Peace prize. These are worth more than the Presidency.

President GEJ gives the impression of a good man at heart but a bad judge of character & someone too laid back to confront his erring subordinates. I wouldn't know the inner workings at Aso Villa, but judging from the outside, it seems the man never fully understood what it meant to be the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria. He might have done much better as governor of one of the smaller states.
exactly. I believe Jonathan is a good man surrounded by parasites. That was his error, his team messed his administration up. However, selecting a competent and credible team is an integral part of leadership and thus; he may not have been the best option for a nation like Nigeria. We wish him good luck in all his future endeavours and we will always respect him for allowing free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria. God bless Nigeria.

grin grin and judging from the outside, you have been so used to the workings of military regimes and demo-military regimes(Obasanjo) to understand the separations of power and limits of power in democracy.

When we compare Nigeria to US, most people do without having the slightest knowledge about the history of US and how long the journey took them.

Freedom of speech has gotten us all here spitting trash, what about freedom without interference of the police, the Judiciary and other executive arms of government? What about the coming to reality of the confab which would have singly revived and woken states up to their strength in taking care of themselves(fiscal or true federalism)?

We care too much about our stomachs hence we believe in being giving a fish @ a time rather than being empowered by learning the fish cashing itself in other to be independent.

The most clueless who was busy drinking ogogoro for 18days while Chibok girls had been kidnapped.

The most clueless being who left Moro as a Minister under his own administration while innocent job seeking Nigerian youths were murdered.

The utter goat whom several international news media made him the butt of jokes. The same clueless being 24hours after nyanya bombing was found in Ibadan drinking ogogoro with the Oba in Ibadan.

Is that the same ediot this alatenuje poster aka Ministerial Aide aka protection seeker aka barcanista is calling a hero? Shameless beings.

Abegi. Stop talking already. It is not like we don't remember all you did to hurt our democracy especially the HoR saga.

- How many SINate presidents did OBJ have in his second chance of civilian presidency?
- How many Speakers did OBJ have?
- How many governors were impeached by OBJ in state assemblies held in covens, practically?
- How many political assassinations happened under former Baba Iyabo, a useless old man that is disowned by even his biological children?

Is this not Buhari and APC's navigator

Perhaps one of the most corrupt leaders in our country!

...F A C T.. C H E C K ...

'Obasanjo and Atiku in 8 years built one UNIVERSITY each for themselves....Bells and ABTI.
They built NONE for Nigerians.

Jonathan and Sambo in 4 years built 14 (FOURTEEN) new universities for all Nigerians.
NONE for themselves.

NOTE: OBJ and ATIKU are now consultants/sponsors/piloters/members of APC....
They too are seeking CHANGE!!!
