Fellow Lagosians,

*I received the news of Oba Akiolu's alleged outbursts and veiled threats against the igbos with great consternation, I condemn the high-handedness of the Oba in the STRONGEST terms..

* Lagos is a microcosm of Nigeria and the Igbos remain a crucial partner in its development..

*Akiolu's statement doesn't in anyway reflect the thinking in the APC or its govt that have given igbos a fair deal..

* Are you aware that Lagos APC spokesman, Joe Igbokwe is Igbo? Are you aware that the Commissioner of Economic Planning &Budget, Ben Akabueze is igbo? Amongst others..

* Ambode and Agbaje are both Yorubas.. Administrative acumen, cognate experience, financial wizardry should be the KEY parameters with which they should be assessed..

*AMBODE stands tall in all and far above Agbaje whose only speciality is in dispensing drugs!..Lagos is not an hospital or a pharmacy!

* Let's vote for SYNERGY with the Federal Govt for once to speed up development in Lagos..If we love FASHOLA, then we will TRUST his judgement!

* ‪#‎VoteAmbode4Governor‬ ‪#‎VoteAPC4BetterLagos‬ ..Lets continue with the excellence in governance!

Too little, too late.

The "King of Lagos" has already done the damage.

Yorubas on nairaland making it seem as if the Agbaje guy is Igbo

So much hatred for their own so called son and Lagos indegene for that matter. And lead by Oba himself cheesy

Just listen to Oba saying that Igbos will drown in a Lagoon for voting a Lagos indegene o. Makes no sense to me one bit

And if Igbos vote Agbaje(which they'll now do out of curiosity) and Lagoon doesn't open, what will Oba now say?

I honestly wish he didn't say this but unfortunately he did. I saw the video and couldn't stop Smh for grandpa

The King of Lagos anger has led to this aggressive words that has thrown Ambode in a state of panic. Agbaje on the other hand is trying to use this medium to seduce the igbos to rob them of their vote while Ambode is striving to get the igbos on his side.

I am a Yoruba but I think the Igbos are more powerful in Lagos than before.

I hope this Lagos election will not lead to something both the Lagosians and the igbos will regret in the nearest future.

If only this condemnation had been swift in the first place, perhaps things might have been different for Ambode....But we think this is a belated reaction when you look at the excessive clamour and umbrage against Akiolu even newspapers,radio-shows,TV programmes all have picked on this development and most will be keen to see how it ends..Will there be voter backlash against Ambode? Will there be reprisal killings or arson btw both tribes?? What steps can be done to avoid it and Can Lagos survive the ordeal??.....what about thieffnubu? What's his take?

Igbos will regret, yorubaz will regret even more including those yorubas based in the east and areas not yorubaland...Tis best yorubas accept the current circumstance as sacrifices for 'One Nigeria' …Upsettin the apple cart might be their greatest undoing.

This should lay the issue to rest except there are other motives therein for our Igbo brothers.

Stop the ganging up and vote according to your conscience. Stop campaigning as a block against APC/Ambode so that wherever the pendulum swings, you're not seen as against anyone.

Ambode has a better chance than JK whether you gang up or not and APC ruling Lagos is more beneficial than PDP especially this time around that the central government is APC.
