Most of you guys don't even know the full story. Two of the nigerian convicts continued to control their drug trafficking networks, even while they were imprisoned. So they had more count charges on them besides their initial drug trafficking on them. Why would anyone travel thousands of miles away from home just to put his/ herself on death row, how sad. The law is an ass in those countries, they carry out the execution of drug traffickes no matter which country they come from. They have executed people from several western countries and they still continue to do it. It is not only Nigerians that are executed when found guilty.

the only solution is not to get caught with the crime over there. No be NDLEA oo, na real guys who dont take bribe. Wether you are british, australian , american or whatever does not count over there!

I dont think these countries are evil at all, the laws including that of Nigeria is clear, the difference is that "Indonesia" implements hers, nigeria does not. Moreso, I think the country is just trying to protect her citizens, finance and labour force so that all indonessians will not go wacko jacko on the streets of jakarta.

What happened to deporting them back to their country

The issue is the indonesian president popularity rating has crashed by almost 60% within the last since months of its inception,but indonesians don't care much about drug offenders been killed and they are even asking for the death sentence to be given to corrupt politicians as well. So if the president balks and stops this executions it will further damage his popularity among the people because it will be obvious he is doing it because of the westerners involved and if he goes ahead ,indonesia will most likely face serious diplomatic and economic consequences from france,uk and most importantly indonesia rich and powerful neighbour australia .

Its a pity to know that some people still pity these yet to be dead people as I believe they re very unaware about the status quo. Its clearly written on there Visa that drug trafficking attracts death penalty. So what's the pity all about. Saudi Arabia would have executed them a week after being caught without even exposing it to the media. And mind you, these stiffer country's have the highest pay. A suuccessful entry attracts more pay unlike country's who don't have such law. A successful trip to Saudi arabia is a lot of cash knowing that once u caught, u dead.

Indonesia should change that their outdated law of executing drug peddlers from execution to jail terms, with all the executions they have carried out over the decades people are still peddling drugs everyday in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and other south east Asia countries they need to change their laws of execution for drug peddlers to jail term.
